So, I was responding to someone asking a question about an otome game and posted the game's manufacturer's website and got banned for 'posting a banned website'. I was completely unaware that posting that website would get me banned.
A few weeks ago something similar happened with another website, this time when I was trying to share translation files to another anonymous and got banned for, once again, 'posting a banned website'.
Is there a list of all these websites/words/phrases that'll get you auto banned? It's a bit silly to get banned for posting websites when you have no warning that said website will result in a ban. It would be helpful if there was a list somewhere.
No. That would probably be a bad idea, because then spammers would know which URLs they can and cannot flood.
Generally it's websites that have been spammed before (e.g. AT) or ones with certain TLDs (e.g. .ru and .in). I once wrote up a post with no URLs and got banned for posting a banned website, though. I figured they were just using the same system to block some textual spam.
I would e-mail moot with your post. One or two users being banned doesn't matter, even if it's by mistake (why would it? The mods used to ban people en masse for the hell of it). But it could be a big problem in the future.
I said moot was corrupt and his mods were useless cronies in a sticky once. /z/-banned quietly
fine with me, the site is shit for said reasons
I got thread-banned once for being in a thread were someone was posting a story about meeting moot at a Best Buy.
I've had flame wars with moot in stickies and he hasn't banned me.
In a lot of ways he's a cool guy. I just wish he would listen to my ramblings about how he does things wrong and I am right about everything!
lol 4chan
>>5 says m00t is a pretty cool guy.
eh hosts 4chan and doesn't afraid of anything.
>2012

Banned for criticizing a certain admin during a question period, wasshoi!
Banned for criticizing a camwhoring heroin addict. "Trolling", they said
Really, it was because I criticized the administration. I hate that site
> camwhoring heroin addict
This is relevant to my interests.

Local janitor has a soft spot for the hard stuff. So soft in fact, he'll post mushy photo ops of Jack.T.Ripper in the flesh doing the stuff.
So when do I get my tip?
i wouldn't know, i only browse /c/ now and again, i don't ever post there because i don't like the community.
speaking of communities i don't like/retarded bans, i got a global permaban from 420chan for asking how to say 'dick' in russian.
for a bunch of stoners those guys are seriously aggro
It's the secret nobody
likes to hear
b& for posting garbage outside of /b/. Thing is that I can't look it up. /banned says I'm not banned but when I try to post it says Ban evasion. Origninal ban was forposting bla bla bla. I don't get this site sometimes.
I haven't been to 4 in ages, but a few years back I got banned from 7chan for repeatedly trolling with furry sex pics of dinosaurs. Been an iichanner/wakachanner/whatever we are now since.
If you're banned you probably deserve it. I know some of the mods. Used to be a mod. I did a good job of not looking away when misconduct was conducted on the board. Just read the rules and don't lollygag.

I also used to be a mod, and have known at least 30000 mods in my lifetime, so your opinion is wrong.

So is it true that moot replaced most of the mods recently?
You can get banned from REAL LIFE by posting on 4chan
you know what I mean
They ban you for posting links to volafile.io, I'm guessing because of gamergate.
I got automatically banned from 4chan for simply posting this link:
http://peyre.x10.mx/GWBASIC/
There's nothing bad on that site, so I don't know why it's in their blacklist...

I get banned for tripping 4chan's spam filter. If I had known about this thread, I'd document the list here.
1chan.us
is on the spam list
Users that post on /a/ exhentai threads are getting DMCA, and counter-requests take 10-14 business days to be dealt with. This means that requests aren't being dealt with in first place.

Jewcob is pretty rich. so it makes sense he has the new admins in his payroll. Apparently, he's been using his own money to make all the expenses. I guess the sales are not as high after all.

Volafile?
No, that's because of that Jennifer Lawrence leak and what it created.
(insider info, I swear)
