I like to checkup on a.s.h. from time to time.
Usenet still exists?
Sure (and post too!): rec.arts.anime.misc is a survivor from the real O.G. days of anime fandom, and still gets a decent amount of postings. How about comp.os.cpm, a group devoted to an operating system that dates from 1974 along with discussion on running the ancient decades old hardware for this OS? I have some CP/M based computers (like 35 years old!) and it's a blast to see people still running these relics. Going on usenet is to experience, hands on, a taste of what the early day of the Internet were like.
Hopefully usenet will, cockroach like, outlast all of the flashy moderated/censored boards and be the "last man standing" of online discussion one day...
i wish more people would use usenet nowadays.
makes me sad that I'm such a newfag at live who could not experince the old internet in it's glory days
Sorry but I am not a pedo.
I still check in on sci.chem and sci.physics from time to time.
I havent logged in into my eternal september account in a long time I hope it's still valid.
c.l.c++.moderated ftw
rec.humor.oracle is pretty much the only one I ever browse. I'm impressed how much dedication has gone into it.

now, that brings back memories. Is the Oracle still even around? And are 80% of the jokes still inside jokes (they weren't called "memes" then) about the Oracle's underpaid lackey Zadoc, or his girlfriend Lisa, or the sinister woodchuck conspiracy? ("how much wood could a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?" "ZOT")
I don't care of people think i'm a pedo i dont care who says theyre hot or they arent id still put it in all their holes
Is there any good way to access Usenet that isn't a paid account intended for pirate binaries nor accessed through Big Brother Google?
Lisa in a bathtub
nah , way easier to just use gikopoi
why would i want to usenet anyway
its just boomer pedos and schizos
You know how to make me interested, heh.
