No joke, it's a comfort to me knowing that people like you exist. Things have become so, so bad with regard to tech literacy. Nobody cares about privacy. Nobody cares to know how computers or the internet works, even at a basic level. Hell, people don't event want real computers anymore, they're completely comfortable with their 24/7 spy device mobile phones. What I find truly discomforting is that I'm personally not an expert by any means and I'm still leaps and bounds ahead of the average 'normie' in terms of my understanding of how technology is used (against you).
