TIFF was their first joint public outing after the shit storm that was pap night. It hadn't gone well and hadn't been well received, they as a couple hadn't been well received, i.e. the are they or aren't they, the timeline regarding her broken engagement. Then they had to go before cameras and media and sell a stinker of a movie. It must have been uncomfortable. And they were wanting to sell the 'We're not a couple' story, so they acted very much like they'd never bumped genitals.

But there definitely was a different feel in October in Nashville, as anon1 said: giggly, touchy-feely. I think their genitals bumped hard that weekend because it's Nashville and no one's really watching, because they'd denied any relationship and probably felt they could go under the radar, etc.

It seems to be a very convenient relationship - FB or FWB - and working for them (humans need relationships) at this point in their lives. And it might become more as it develops. Either way, we get to gossip and speculate - good message board business.
