Um, I'm really a new lurker. Not any of those other people, honest! But I'm not sure how to prove that. And I really am sorry about using the Anon name! I've actually never posted on anything before.
Also, for the record, I do think TS is very accomplished woman. She is a philanthropist, and she is a great role model for young girls, much better than some of the other pop singers in the industry who sing half dressed, fall out of nightclubs, etc.
I really just find the whole TH romance to be a confusing surprise, given his previously completely private persona. Its a volte face for his image. Maybe TS is his dream woman, as we can't know 360 degrees about TH's full personality from his interviews. Anyway, it's lovely to chat with all of you.

I was reading back the comments last night. I do actually still think this is a warp speed romance from a meeting at the Met Gala (and maybe getting it on that night). It's an easy theory because one doesn't have to find space in the chronology for them to have met and been texting/screwing for a while before May. And she would still need a PR cover up because she shacked up with someone new the day she met him at a drunken party - in some ways that sounds worse than meeting someone in say March or April, getting close then realising you preferred them to your current lover.
Everyone seems to be saying that TT must have been a thing for longer than May 2 because they look like an established couple in these pics. I am not sure I agree. They are all over each other but that is consistent with TS always behaving like a 15 year old girl in her relationships. As for him - he is enjoying a break from filming or publicity tours for the first time in ages, and has spent maybe the last 12 days in her company 24/7. Things get intense pretty quickly in that environment. To me he looks like a man who has spent the last 12 days shagging constantly and consequently can't keep his paws off her. When I was this far into my relationship with my husband (or maybe a week more) we were on a plane to Venice and we probably didn't look much different in terms of body language. Brand new novelty relationship, infatuation and sex haze is what I see in these pics.

What seems so out of place with it all though is that they are so public. Every day. Twice a day now. No-one can persuade me those beach shots weren't staged so why would anything else they do in the public eye be genuine?

Some light entertainment thanks to Calvin who I am realising has an incredible sense of humor. He just keeps delivering. The references to leg day (hi Hiddles) while doing nothing, The petty bitchy instagram comments. I usually cringe at social media slinging matches but this is giving me so much joy. Calvin you big bitch.
It could also be that as a "permanent escapee from emotional entanglement" he understood that he couldn't go on like that if he wanted one day a stable relationship and TS just showed at the right moment, being with TS means being forced to be public with your romance and not being in control, likely he knows it won't last and that's great too, fling like feelings and paps to shock himself to go out there again. As for his career, if we want to give him the benefit of the doubt and say he didn't throw his intelligence away, maybe he knew it would look bad and his reputation would take a hit, but decided to prioritize his future love life over his career.

It is possible that this may be how Tom is in a new relationship but we just didn't see it before. I don't think he has spent this much time with someone 24/7 for a long time - probably not since EO when they were filming ISTL. By all accounts there were a number of Facebook posts from locals that they were hanging out in every cafe in Shreveport. I always thought that not very obvious pairing was born out of an intense time together (in terms of emotion and 24/7 contact) filming a project he loved.
What's new is that we are seeing it in public. Partly I think because this is what TS does and he went along with it for infatuation. Partly because once you feed the beast, the beast will start feeding off you whether you want it or not. I suspect we are entering the phase where the paps follow them everywhere whether they set it up or not.

Like Anon I think they are in that mad rush of the first few weeks of a relationship. They are falling in love because that's what you doing the first weeks of a relationship. Will it last? I'm not the type of person who cares about celebrities. I made an exception for Tom Hiddleston because he was not a celebrity. He was a serious actor who didn't seem to care about the Hollywood way of life and only cared about his craft. His interviews gave an image of him as an intelligent and cultured man but maybe he's just good at memorising interesting things he reads in books.
The Tom Hiddleston we all knew until a few weeks ago would never date a plastic doll like Taylor Swift who behaves like a 15 year old, who dresses like a 15 year old and whose friends also behave like 15 year old. The lunch with Hank William's granddaughter was probably a move to look more mature after that night at Selena Gomes' concert.
I'm trying to understand his behaviour but I really don't get it. So I'm counting on you to help me with that.
