I watched the first season of "Fargo" and Malvo became a dentist to gain the trust of another dentist. He befriended the dentist to find out the location of the dentist's relative who was in the witness protection program. He planned on killing the rat in the witness protection program or whatever for money.
Here is the question:
Why didn't he just beat the information out of him? That would have been quicker. Enhanced interrogation techniques can make a man do just about anything, from prostrating himself to raping his own sister. Anything feels better than prolonged torture, especially the prospect of that torture ending.

I haven't watched fargo yet, but surely torturing someone is a liability in the future. Don't want someone arresting me for alleged offences 3 years down the line when I could just diplomacy my way to victory. Are you a psychopath >>1?

I set the markup to HTML and the quotation thing via ">" didn't work, interesting.
>quotations like this ("meme arrows")
Also the prologue mission of "Grand Theft Auto V" reminds me of the first season of "Fargo"; they are similar settings and stories.
