Uhm..

On a less obscene note, or at least a differently obscene note, Ridges-per-Inch can also be a measure of a solution's indirectness (or oilyness, although the term shouldn't be confused with Oily Hoover or Oily Ruler).

The Good Doctor is infamous for his indirect solutions; for example, when building a machine to whirl the blue rodent around, he would pick the most inefficient way possible, such as holding the rodent still, and spinning the entire room around, including himself. Of course, the motor he chooses to use, being a non-magnetic device that works by heating ball bearings, outputs so much heat that the rodent would be cooked before he could "enjoy" the whirling, so another motor of the same power is required to power a fan to keep the rodent cool, which can only work by spinning the opposite direction to the room, which would counterweight it and stop the whole thing spinning in the first place, so another motor needs to be added outside the room to spin it again, and when that explodes, it will destroy the room and rodent anyway. (see Oily Hoover)
