Twitter has dopamine and ego building mechanisms to feed users.
They get notifications, they get likes, followers. Here if they even find this place they post a thread and forget to look for replies or they don't even know how to browse.
We're a dying breed. Only way to make 4-ch more active would be to flood it with social media users from places like twitter and tiktok with fake viral stories and kaomoji spam. Lets be honest, the content couldn't get that much worse than what we have.
Easiest way to make them stay would be adding a secret hidden user (or cookie) that lets people get notifications on replies.

I don't mind it being slow though. There's nothing wrong with that.
