I used Facebook a long time ago, and people mostly posted photos and life events. It seemed more genuine and meaningful. Sure, some people would pretend to be more successful and happy than they really were, but people mostly posted their own content -- photos and text.

I recently made another Facebook account, and you know what my timeline is filled with? Memes and political garbage. People just "share" links and shit rather than posting their own content. Clickbait garbage, or screenshots of "funny" posts from Instagram/Twitter/Reddit/etc.

What happened? It's not the same at all.
