Update:
Well I just got back from the civil war re-enactment. She greatly enjoyed her time there and even learned how to do the Virginia Reel. It was also really nice because she was cold in her dress during the dance so I got to hold her in my arms :)

When we dropped her off at out house I asked her if she had come to a decision since last time.
She said that it would be hard with me going to collage and her in High school and that she wasn't sure if she had the time for a boyfriend and that it might be better for her if we were friends.
I told her that I was going to a local collage and wont moving so I wouldn't even be leaving my house. Also, I promised her that I would not get in the way of her studies and asked that she give me a chance to which she replied she would give me a chance.

So my question is this, I am dangerously close to being permanently moved into the 'Friend Zone'. What should I make sure to do on our 1st real date (seeing the movie pirates 3) to avoid going to the 'Friend zone'?
