To some extent I think you have a point... However, we have certain mutual friends who would smash her into the ground if she is just fucking around with me. People who have know her much longer than me, but also people who I know I can rely on. I doubt she would place her friendships with them in jeopardy by doing anything to me. I will try to prod a little bit and see what she's really thinking though. Head it off before I get in too far emotionally.
