Problem with Exercise (15)

I have a problem with exercising that is unique: I can't exercise, because it arouses me. Whenever I get sweaty and feel myself becoming more in shape, I experience erections and stop due to the discomfort.

Does anyone have a problem with this, and how did you overcome it?

Well quite a weird problem you have there buddy. Just continue to exercise even when feeling aroused, tbh I cant see this as a big problem.

But that's the problem! It stops me from continuing. I think about exercising and all of the hot men that do the same thing, and I can't help but feel exasperatedly horny. It's maddening.

Of course I am!

I've tried that, and it doesn't work. I can climax all right, but then I lose all interest in exercising.

Get passed the discomfort, and it seems like you have the kind of lasting motivation people burn for. As long as you excercise by yourself though, I guess.

exerciser with great intensity to the point where your mind is being blinded with pain and all you can think about is finishing

If you are stimulated whilst exercising, surely it will get your blood pumping faster and help you out.
Maybe think of using sex as your main form of exercise?

Do it anyway. You rack disciprine! You should be exercising according to a routine whether you want to or not.

That's not even exciting. It hurts too much.

What is your routine?

>What is your routine?

Weight training three times a week for about an hour, focusing on different parts of the body each session, followed by a big meal with lots of meat like steak. I've only been doing it two months but I've been building up pretty quick. As I say discipline is the main thing so if boners are giving you a problem just jerk it before you go then force yourself through the routine even if you don't feel like it. Also, if you do some harsh stretches before you start, and force yourself through the pain, it will serve to focus your mind on the exercise and erase all the thoughts of wanting to give up.

wow, never heard of a problem like this before. Seems like your mind is stuck on the equasion exercise = sexy. Maybe you should try finding out what being gay is really about, see what kind of guys you like and what they think of you. Get your mind to associate other things to sex and not necessarily exercise.

This is the closest answer to my own guesses. I believe my inability to exercise without painful arousal comes from a psychodynamic construct from my youth.

I will think about it. Thank you.
