This isn't an issues-based test, if you bothered to click on it. Half the criticisms apply to shit like abortion or gun rights, neither of which are explicitly asked in the test.

Dear 11,

You are a hippie. You probably think that we are the world and that it can be made a better place. It can't.

The only thing you can really do is find a niche, like a parasite or a tick, DIG IN and defend it the best you can.

Your starbucks coffee drinking, Kerry worshipping, tax and spend lifestyle is not the key to salvation. I do not want salvation.

The world is a rotting corpse. Live with it.

We're all going to die anyway. Jump a bridge today!

14 Name: Citizen : 2006-04-08 06:36 ID:avQ80JjZ

Yeah we all ARE going to die one day....

but that doesn't mean I'm going to commit suicide. It just means that I'm not going to care about everyone's problems because I hate society. All of these hornrimmed glasses wearing, Jon Stewart worshipping protohippies and their pipe dreams..... Who do you really think you are kidding? Do you honestly think a Democrat will really make things better? Raising taxes, progressive taxation, welfare doles, gun control, and forced public education and NO vouchers.

Screw that. Don't make me suffer with the rest of you. Tolerance, acceptance, progressive agendas...HA! I laugh at you. Trying to turn us into the great spaceship earth where everyone gets along...

lame. We are animals. We eat, we shit, we fuck, and we die. The best option is to save your money, neither a borrower nor a lender be, and don't rely on anyone else. Self sufficiency and territorialism is the only answer. It works for all animals from the ant to the lion. Stop encouraging the "underpriviliged" to keep crapping out kids that nobody wants, stop bussing ghetto kids to good schools where they bring their drugs, crime and bad influence with them, stop relying on the government so damn much for "intervention".

This is lame. There is no truth. There is no good. All we can do is hold to what we have and hang on for the duration.

No, you'll not see me jumping off any bridges. I'm dug in quite nicely and without pity.

I dunno, maybe I am a more socialist in the British or European sense. I don't know what the American sense of the word "Socialist" means.

But as to my beliefs:

Government exists for the sake of its people. If the people of a nation are starving, or in danger, or being exploited, or something similar, the government is neglecting its duty. At the same time, the state itself may not abuse the public or the public trust. The government shouldn't be allowed to become currupted, and career politicians should be working for the common man, not the lobbiests or interest groups.

"Vox populi suprema lex esto" -- Missouri state motto, and beesides that a good model for government "The will of the people is the supreme law.

I think that's nonsense. Every major turning point in human history has been caused by one person, or a small group of people. Your ability to change the world depends on how much you're willing to dedicate and sacrifice for it. The odds might only be one in six billion, but it's more than nothing at all.

The Social Democratic current came into being by a break within the Socialist movement in the early 20th century. One reformist group of Socialists rejected the idea of a Socialist revolution, and instead tried to achieve the Socialist ideals through Democratic means.

Social Democrats are in favor of a highly regulated Capitalist market economy, but with a strong and large government [Moderate Interdependence].

Social Democracy is often considered the most commonly embraced political ideology in the world.

Well, aparently I'm perfectly normal and average.

My personal values have nothing to do with my politics. I value traditionally conservative values with a slightly collectivist spin, and dislike excessive corporate greed/tyranny. I politically value a government that grants both economic and personal liberty, even if it doesnt produce my idea of a good time.
