微力ながら「パシフィック・リム」公開を盛り上げたい一心で作った動画が、本当に日本公開もしかしたらもしかするんじゃないか！？と思えるくらい大きな反響を頂く結果となり本当に嬉しいです。皆さんの叱咤激励含み大変に熱量が高く素敵なコメントも沢山頂き、毎日泣きながらその全てを読ませて頂いています。本当にありがとうございます。
動画を上げたばかりの頃、すこしコメントさせて頂いたのですが、今は読むのが難しくなってしまったようなので、多少文章を修正はしましたが、ここに再掲させて頂きます。

私はまだ本篇を観ていませんが、面白いか面白くないか、好きか嫌いか、日本か海外か、デザインやら何やらの趣味嗜好の違いなどは既にどうでもよくて...
幼いころに怪獣やロボットに憧れて思いを馳せていた私のような子供たちの中から、一人のメキシコの少年が４０年の月日を経てハリウッドで２００億の制作費を掛けて、幼き日の夢を映画と実現させた！そんな映画が存在している！ただその事実だけで素晴らしい！現代の奇跡の結晶のような映画だと思っています。
続編だリメイクだ原作ものを否定するわけではありません。新作のゴジラも勿論楽しみですが、自身の夢と愛だけで作られるようなオリジナル映画がこの先も結実出来るかどうか私は幼く拙くも純粋な少年少女たちの夢がカタチになるかもしれない道がこの先も存続してほしいからこそ、ただの一ファンではありますが、少しでもこの映画を盛り上げ応援出来ればとこの動画を作りました。

みなさんそれぞれの想いが強い作品たちでもありますし、感想を読ませていただいて、言い訳したいことも多少ありますので...(^^;)、少しばかり制作中に考えていたことも書かせて頂きます。
●出来るだけ東宝映画の予告をオリジナルのまま使う。
●あくまで「パシフィック・リム」を盛り上げるのが目的。
この二つの条件を当面の足がかりに使えそうな予告を探して、最終的に平成版「vsメカゴジラ」の予告を中心に使うことにしました。
最初は音声も昭和東宝映画から使用するつもりだったので「海底軍艦」か「地球防衛軍」を元に構成しようと考えていたのですが、会話のシーンが多いことや、盆踊りのシーンなど、どうしても「パックリム」の映像素材では補えきれない尺が長くて断念しました。
とはいえ「vsメカゴジラ」のベビーゴジラをどう処理していいか分からずにいました。ふと芦田愛菜ちゃんをベビーゴジラに置き換えれば！と思い立ち前に進む事が出来ました(笑)。
また予告編の後半「スーパーメカゴジラ合体完了」や「ベビーゴジラをめぐる史上最大の戦いが始まる...この台詞は予告の予告版に残っています」などの台詞も扱いに悩んだ末、「vsスペースゴジラ」予告の対モゲラ戦が始まる辺りと差し替えることにしました。その為イドリス・エルパの台詞が前半が中尾彬、後半は柄本明が担当する形にになりました。しかし最終的には「パックリム」本編映像に合わせるため、監督ギレルモ・デルトロのテロップ以降は「vsメカゴジラ」のゴジラマーチ以下、破壊、爆発音を平成ゴジラ各予告から抜き出し、音響はほぼ丸々作り直してしまいました。
「エルボー・ロケット」とタイトルコールは日本版TV-CM「ヴァーサス篇」を使用しました。
昭和東宝映画の音声使用を断念してしまったかわりに、フォントは思いっきり昭和テイストでまとめました。フォントは「モスラ」「地球最大の決戦」「地球防衛軍」「海底軍艦」「サンダ対ガイラ」各予告篇からの流用です。タイミングや尺もオリジナルのままです。新規分にはガヴァドン・フォントを使用させて頂きました。
