>>59 u have cause and effect backwards friend, the desertification of the sahel is happening because of climate change due to industrial pollution & farmers clearing the land for crops, which pushes the pastoralists out of their traditional grazing lands where they've been living and grazing their animals for centuries before "desertification" started. it's just weird as fuck to parse "pastoralism is destroying the local environment" from that, is all i'm saying.
