Even Jesus was a Jew, he was allowed into the Second Temple, don't forget the so-called "Cleansing of the Temple". Contrast this with Paul who was chased away by an angry mob on another occasion. Non-Jews weren't allowed in.
Roman executions are another tell-tale sign: non-Romans got crucified, but Paul was beheaded (and canonically depicted with a sword).
