http://prtf.net.

Please forgive the slowness of it, it's hosted by a free hosting company for the time being until I get a job and can afford to pay for a better hosting provider. It's is very new and lacks a lot of desired features like formatted input for the posts/replys but hopefully that will come soon.

It's also an anonymous forum-type software like this site but it's completely from scratch with no outside sources. Just got tired of seeing the same open-source software packages used all over with nothing newer. Mostly built it for my own personal usage to help keep my skills growing as I continue to learn. If you have any questions please feel free to ask here or there.

Pretty cool, did you make all of it yourself?

Looks good. Captcha does appear only with javascript on (not sure if many will care, I do)

Yes. I've been using PHP and SQL for a few years but not heavily. I mostly think of something I'd like to make and play around with that idea on my local server until I get something worthy enough to post online.

I honestly don't want to use any kind of captcha but I don't know of a better bot deterrent than that. Now just need to work on moderation features which is why I'm requiring a password for people creating posts. This way they can make edits and modify/delete their own thread.

>>5 captchas may be a neccessary evil, however, there is no indication there is a captcha at all, in case you have js off - until you try to submit your post (and you are in a dead end then).

This is true. I added a “noscript” tag so it will at least inform the user a little that JavaScript is required.
