Mac OS X Mavericks. I excitedly upgraded to the next OS at the time on my work Mac, but there were too many silly little niggles that made it unpleasant to use.

SparkyLinux (a debian-based distro) has CDE in its custom repo. I just added the repo to my vanilla Debian installation and it works pretty well. Dunno about manjaro though, even if it's in the AUR or something I wouldn't trust it to be that stable
