Use Firefox with TOR, but do not pass DNS through SOCKS5.
Whenever I pass DNS through SOCKS5 a lot of websites cock block me or are broken for me.
Anything outside of this will suck so if this doesn't work for you be prepared to pay up for a good proxy.

Depends what your using it for. If you just need to get past region locks then Tor is good enough. But if your involved in something more serious and don’t want anyone snooping around then Tor by itself isn’t gonna help you. What’s important is practicing good operational security. There are a lot of idiots out there who use Tor and then type in their personal details while using it, making the whole thing pointless.

Just go onto any sort of forum or site that does raids. They'll probably have a list of a shitton of obscure free VPNs that they use for ban evading. They definitely log all of your data and sell it to make money though, so I wouldn't recommend them for anything other than that purpose.
