I still don't see what's wrong with taking a shower... why you consider it bad. Do you have to shower in cold water, does your mom scrub you, is it cold in your house, or what? I can understand being upset that you had to waste a day off from school by going to the doctor. The part about your sister not being able to put her hair in a ponytail is just creepy though, like the doctor was enjoying watching her or something. It's not like that would have changed how much she weighed or anything.
