Let's talk about Blade Runner! Over 25 years later, and it still blows my mind.

It's not that great

It is. Especially given the fact it did age well.

Blade Runner is fucking awesome, anybody who doesn't agree is either trolling or doesn't know anything about movies.

Final Cut is the best.

Yes, just watched Final Cut again, and enjoyed it whole-heartily. Great film, especially for the time, and our current time as well now that i think about it.

I thought it was good, but my fiance couldn't wait to turn it off.

One of my favourites movies. Though, not everybody will like it. Once i got late for college, and skipped a sociology class. I asked my clasmates what did i miss, and they said "Actually, you did well by skipping class. We had to watch this weird sci-fi long-ass boring movie that nobody cared about except the teacher..." and stuff like that. When i found out that the movie they were speaking of was actually "Blade Runner" i facepalmed. Anyways, i was one of the few to pass that class =P

I really liked the world design in Blade Runner. The Fifth Element had a neat setting too it felt a lot like BR's only less trashed

mmm eh. people make such a big fuss about the style, the way it looks and the world it's set in. but all I saw was old and gray. Old gray apartment. Old gray police station. Old gray nightclub. Old gray robot lair. Maybe it was something special in it's time but I've seen better. I've seen the story in other things, done better and more entertaining.

Blade Runner has been such an inspiration to filmmakers everywhere for literally decades now so it's funny that it was a hit but not like a Star Wars level success film when it debuted.
