definetaly not for any resemblance of 2-ch. completely FAIL in that respect.
I am trying to go into a deep warm hole filled with soft logical sounds and orange jelly, wrapped in a thick worn frayed blanket with barely visible geometric animal shapes of faded emerald green and yellowish colors, losing sight of everything outside that is chaotic and shallow, changing my fantasy to reality and my reality to fantasy, OPTIC, clever goblins, witches, ghouls, ghosts, elves, wizards, warlocks, flying creatures, and forest, electronic flutes, magical harps, potions, and fairies.

Gives me something to do. I just wish the community could be bigger and better, and then I might enjoy it more...at least it's not as bad as 4chan's community.

I like this simple text board. I expect that if I could post on 2ch and read japanese, I would post there instead. If 4ch could get bigger, and more diverse, it would be a good thing. There would be fewer idiotic posts and thus a bigger incentive to not be an idiot. Until then, DQN(s) rule this board.

I prefer to post on 2ch style BBSs such as 4-ch because is so much easier posting here as compared to boards such as phpbb and the rest. Oh and we're all anonymous so there's no identity whoring.
It's a nice place without too much rush. Not that I'd mind that.

I like the discussion style, and that this place is more serious than yotsuba. Wish it were a bit more active, though.

Seriously because it's the only kareha board(meaning easy to navigate and post.) Yeah, phpbb boards have better material and much better people, it's just hard to post, and elitism.
Actual serious discussion on an anonymous text board. 4chan is good to go to, but you won't find much but bored people posting random crap there (only mildly-serious board there is /g/, and half of it is people trolling Mac/CRT [I don't use either]).
I really could care less about it being Japanese, 2ch, or whatever else you guys like. I'm here for actual discussion.
4chan's /b/ is dead to me, so I gave up being a /b/tard and starting coming here and also 420chan's /i/.

I for one am so tired of idiots randomly spouting memes. It seems that the little charm and intelligence of /b/ from the old days is long gone, and the only things left to look forward to (hardly worth putting up with the crap for them though) are the GETS, most of which are only fun because they manage to piss everyone off :D

After browsing 4chan for quite awhile, I was surprised by the large gaiafag population.
I decided to look into the matter. Subeta was raided, and all the gaia account passwords were given out like candy. I took one and created an account using all the stolen items I had. I looked at the General Discussion board, and there were actually A LOT of topics about 4chan. It was horrible.

I like this text board a little more than 4chan's. Plus 4chan seems to me more about their image boards.
As for how I found this place... It's my friend's fault with his damn Densha Otoko.
I watched it and he was telling me about "Channels" in Japan and about 2ch and I was all "Hay, that's cool, lol!"
So I Wiki'd Densha Otoko, clicked a few links, and here I was. And here I shall stay.
