I used to have long hair. I decided to get it cut one day. Now everyone showers me with compliments, but nothing else has changed. I'm still just the same. I'm kind of pissed that I didn't get it cut sooner, sounds like I actually would've had some opportunities in college if I had short hair.

Long hair must scream, "dirty, lazy, pot-smoking, unemployed, won't get a job, liberal, hippie" to everyone...unless you're a rockstar or successful artist of some sort.

Yeah, I had the same thing. Hair was long, looked sleazy, not cared for and generally shitty. I cut it the bottom of the ear, did just a bit of colouring, now getting compliments that it suits me well.

But long hair seriously gets annoying. I'm going to get myself an afro for a week and then shave everything off. Wanna try short hair again!

Well, I have long hair and my friends and family sais that it suits me better than short hair.
On the other hand I got turned down by several girls because they don't like long hair guys. :(

But I like long hair, I like to headbang on concerts. :D
I don't want to cut it yet, it took me almost two years to grow it... and I see long hair guys with cool chicks, so I don't think that all woman hate long hair.

Long hair on men only looks nice if it's styled with a flat iron or is naturally straight and clean-looking.

I maintained mine well and used good shampoo and conditioner, but it doesn't matter. Short hair is a lot easier to manage anyway.

My boyfriend has long curly hair, but its got loads of danruff in and :/. But it suits him, so its okay.
