I answer anything^^
Who are you ?
I don't think you're a native English speaker.
because you made a mistake about how to use the verb "explain".
Although I'm Japanese,it's a very difficult question.
because I've never thought about such a thing until now.
Let me think it over and I'll definitely tell you something about it later.
In my opinion,......
I'm french so sorry for my poor english.
Hi, nice to talk with you.
Don't you think it's a good idea to try to examine the situations how both of them are used ?
First, when you ask me to do something, you can use both ごめんなさい and すみません.
To give an example,
Second, when you have to apologize to me,you can use both ごめんなさい and すみません.
To give an example,
Sorry,I'm a bit tired. So Let's call it a day.
I'll be back here tomorrow.

Oops,I didn't notice 179.
Enjoy learning Japanese ! good bye.
What are you doing now ?
How come you named yourself
who is nevada-tan?
I have 2 questions:
do you have four seasons in your country?
can you use chopsticks?
>Can I write in the nevada-tan entry of wikipedia?
Of course.
"Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit."
Wikipedia, the free 'encyclopedia' that any fucknut can edit...but most likely any edit you do will be reverted by the god of that particular article...I recommend human sacrifice to solve that problem.
>>189
I see nobody in the discussion page of the Nevada-tan entry, there isn't even a discussion page. I doubt it has a god overlooking it any more...
OTOH I see that the Japanese wiki version has been so often attacked it's now in locked mode:
http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E9%95%B7%E5%B4%8E%E5%B0%8F6%E5%A5%B3%E5%85%90%E5%90%8C%E7%B4%9A%E7%94%9F%E6%AE%BA%E5%AE%B3%E4%BA%8B%E4%BB%B6
Now that one would be quite a task to write something in. :)
People are always trying to reveal her real name, which can still be found if you really look hard enough.
What's that?
I am a Japanese.
Please teach a popular presentation version in U.S.A.
do you have four seasons in your country?
yes,you can see sakura only in spring!
many american dont know it.
can you use chopsticks?
yes,everybody use it"hashi"

do you know what "sarcasm" is?
I have another one!
Did you know that type "A" blood is most common in Japan and Germany, while type "O" blood is most common in United States?
Sarcasm is not a big thing in Japan, actually. They don't use sarcasm a lot to answer or make a point.
>>198
So what ?
Are you a sort of person who believe fortunetelling by using types of blood ?
I believe fortunes by spinning a wheel.
Can I buy a vowel?
>>201 I think not. But if I remember correctly, I am type AB, which are supposed to be:
cool
controlled
rational
sociable
popular
critical
sometimes standoffish
indecisive
So maybe I should because that does describe me most of the time. I was just being the "sometimes standoffish" then. :)
I have a serious question, though. I am 21 years old, and I wonder who Japanese girls that are my age tend to like as far as music.

Why do I see more Caucasian male/ Japanese female couples than Japanese male/ Caucasian female ones?
public display of affection is unmentionable in JPN
> public display of affection is unmentionable in JPN
How old are you ?
I always see lots of couples hagging or kissing on the train
almost every day.
>>212
May be Japanese males are shy and not confident in themseves.
lol
yes,we can see them very often.
Ahh, unfortunately, my Japanese skill is not good enough to say this...and it's kind of controversial...a lot of Caucasian people might get offended...
Relationships and sex are one of the playing fields that race is played out upon. Caucasian, or white colonialism in Asia and elsewhere in the world puts them on top, in control of the region, for example, like in China before WWII, Shanghai was divided up into districts for the French, British, Japanese and Americans, who had economic power there because of China's colonialism. However, colonialism reflects itself in the minds of the people too. Caucasian men find foreign women exotic, and exciting, and in some case, see them as subjects (like in a colony), as submissive and obedient. Caucasian women on the other hand, often see foreign men as less than Caucasian men. Like in a colony, they see foreign men as submissive and weak, and not attractive. So Caucasian women don't find foreign men attractive. On the other side of the issue, Caucasian men are often powerful, have lots of money and so on, so ambitious foreign women often are attracted to Caucasian men. In nations with lots of Caucasian people, the television and media make Caucasian men the default manly standard, so especially Asian girls here see Caucasian men as the default for manliness, rather than Asian men. When you turn on the TV, you see lots of Caucasian males doing the heroic roles. However, the number of Asian men are few. Many Asians tend to play villain roles, or weak roles.

>>1 I have one. How hard is to find job in Japan if I'm from middle Europe country (Slovakia) and my Japanese is not very good (for now because I only started ^_^)? What I need to do or to have for find good job (not garbageman :))?
>>217
Interesting view you have there. I've visited Japan twice and the impression that I obtained from the female teens of densely populated areas is that they viewed the ripped Caucasian blond male to be the image of manliness. When I was in Japan, there were numerous instances of Japanese male heros on tv (not including anime or any other kid's stuff). Also, there are those Japanese guys on the NBC show, Heroes.
>>219
It is not easy to find a job in Japan if you don't have any outstanding marketable skills. The only job I guess would be suitable is an English language teacher. You'd need qualifications if you wish to work as a sanitation engineer (garbageman).
When I visited Japan, I had no intention of finding a job or living there and I simulated what I would have to do if I intended to live there. I found it to be not easy. It takes a lot of effort to live in Japan by yourself if you do not have prearranged accommodation.
If you truly desire to live in Japan, I'd highly recommend you do some serious study into the language as well as the culture. I've been studying the language for some time now. I can easily read a Japanese newspaper and communicate fluently with any Japanese person but I still find it too risky to live in Japan for any length of time.
>>223 I just want to be with my girl in her homeland and to be useful. And from your answer it looks like impossible task. Is there for example PHP development skills valuable commodity or not? Can I work as web developer or maybe my 3d graphic skills will be good enough. I don't understand why is so hard to find normal job in Japan for "gajin"?
Why do Japanese speakers, when typing English, use so many line breaks? It's really odd. Compare, say >>93 to >>223 .
Also, do you think it would be useful to learn Japanese in college? Does Japan have a good job market for foreign computer science people? My impression is that Japan is too overcrowded and xenophobic to really support a lot of foreign workers. Or do you think it's useful enough just to have for business over here, even though I wouldn't be the guy who talks to foreign customers?
Currently I'm planning to take Chinese because China is becoming so economically important now, but I don't really like the way it sounds. Of course, that may have something to do with being exposed mostly only to Pinyin and romaji, and romaji looks prettier. I don't know a whole lot about the actual phonetics, other than that spoken Chinese doesn't really look like the Pinyin.
Sorry for tl;dr post.
>>225
I suggest that you go to India. They speak English and there are a lot of IT jobs :)
English doesn't really fill my college's foreign language requirement. And they don't offer Hindi.
>>227
Before making the insulting remarks that the Japanese are xenophobic and that Chinese doesn't sound nice, learn the reality that college classes you take only to meet your school's requirements don't mean a thing when it comes to job hunting. This is not the place where you discuss what classes you should take. Instead, talk to your academic adviser.
>>229
Why not learn some more English, and come to a nice country like America? The US is a nice place, and you can get fresh fruit here for affordable prices!
>>230 Sorry but US is not for me (I don't like US, but this is only my opinion.). And by the way, what do you mean by this "fruity" sentence: "The US is a nice place, and you can get fresh fruit here for affordable prices!"?
We have a lot of places that grow fruit pretty much year-round (Florida and California) so it's cheap to buy because there are no tariffs on it or something. Same with whatever Mexico grows.
Apparently it costs more elsewhere in the world, and has to be shipped a long way so it doesn't taste as good.
>>233 I don't want to be offensive but why you are talking about fruit in this thread or board or chat or whatever? Is there something I say what makes you think that I need fruit or talk about fruit? I'm only looking for someone from Japan who can help me with job in Japan for foreigner. Is there someone (serious please)?

What is the difference between 恐い and 怖い?
>>238 When something is genuinely terrifying, use 怖い. When something should be reckoned with, use 恐い. So, in a horror movie sense, use 怖い; if someone has photographic memory and it's eerie, use 恐い.

ところで、うちは日本語が下手ですいません。^^;
>>Tsuyoponさん
いいえ、まだまだですよ。^^;;

For Example: 「
