I would have appreciated some of her security for a couple of stalkery exes (and probably doubled up their usefulness as a rebound prop) in the past but I doubt she realises that googly eyed men, lurkers and gross men with mr octopus hands are par for the course of being a reasonably attractive female.
In the few interviews I have read she has alluded to neurotically extreme paranoia over her personal safety, most likely due to her sheltered upbringing and controlled environment. Any confidence she has exuded has been on stage or in front of camera.
It's no wonder she's latched onto an uncle- daddy figure who will hold her hand tightly so she doesn't get lost in the sweet shop. 'Cause she would so get lost without him.
