He doesn't look like someone who is saying "up you" to the people watching. He looks like he weally weally wuvs her and would do anything to be her little puppy at the moment. He isn't wearing it in an ironic manner.

10 years ago I dated a guy who confided in me that all he wanted was to be the cool guy in the in-crowd. There's a new TH argument post going around now on tumblr and his IMDB board that he's always been goofy so him wearing that shirt and tatt is all in good humor and he's being his goofy self, and he's never really been mature. There's a set of GIFs accompanying it and has moments from his all his MTV skits, his dancing and some interviews from his TDW tour.

Okay. I feel like an investigator with this romance. TS will be fine if they stay together or break up. Everyone In the US will now know TH due to his association with TS. I think it's a bit of a reach to assume they haven't boned at this point, despite the fact they are flogging this relationship beyond credibility.

Kong was a very expensive film to make and it will likely cost as much to promote, relying on TH for promotion was a good idea but given the present situation, maybe using Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson, or the entire cast, would be a better solution, even if TH is sort of the lead.
