Thread to talk about actor Tom Hiddleston.
The Opinion Dominion shut her blog down. She sent a story to several gossip sites claiming to be a source close to Tom in order to make a statement about how anyone can tip off the press, not expecting anyone to take her seriously. Then The Hollywood Gossip published her story without verifying it, which proved her point, but then the astro blog and a couple others started fighting with her about what she'd done. Between that and the influx of nasty Hiddleswifties who'd apparently been bombarding her with anonymous messages over the past few days, she said screw it and deleted her blog entirely.
That's what I was able to gather.

TH is nowhere to be seen, unsurprisingly, since he is nowhere to be seen even on the highest paid actor list. I wonder if this looks bad in Hollywood, being 35 and kept by a 26 years old.
The big difference between Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriends and Tom Hiddleston is that the others didn't need her money while Tom doesn't have a dime. That's why he will stay with her.
The only thing he owns is his house in London and he's probably still paying the bank loan.
He's films are low budget, except for the Night Manager (and he wanted this one so much that he probably didn't ask for a high salary).
A big part of his salary goes to the agents (in the UK and the US), his publicist, his assistant, and other things we don't know about. No wonder he doesn't have money to buy new clothes!
I don't know why his fans think he's a millionaire. He's not! But he wants to be one and Taylor Swift is the only way to get there because he can't make with his work.
He's not an A-list actor and he's not a leading man.

Also, I'm glad my leg is getting better and I'll be back to work in a few days which means less time to follow this Hiddleswift nonsense (thank God!).

I fear that he is not above using social media to comment indirectly on his personal life, and that this is indeed intended as a comment on how social media has said his relationship is fake. Spare me the irony of (a) using a third party's Instagram to disseminate a manufactured image of your relationship; (b) refusing to speak to the media directly concerning your relationship, thereby perpetuating any disruption to the truth that may be going on; and (c) then using social media again to comment in the most passive-aggressive manner possible.
Even if he isn't, and the subject matter of this first tweet for nearly a month is a total coincidence and not intended as a comment on his relationship, it strikes me as a tad lacking in self-awareness to criticise social media when you are in bed with social media.

The Guardian article's commentary on "clickbait journalism" is relevant to a lot of the gossip sites that are publishing headlines like "Tom and Taylor already talking marriage and family! She thinks he'll be a great dad!" compete with plenty of unverified "sources" (also mentioned in the Guardian piece).

Ok, I've read the whole article and I stick to my first comment, since the article is part Brexit part social media and news, he should have been more precise, or not RT it. This way he comes off as a complete hypocrite. Again.
It's funny though that his stans and nannies are the one that immediately made it about his personal life. It never occurred to them he might be referring to something more serious.
