1 Name: (₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ : 1993-09-5135 14:29

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ You know, the hardest part of being an intellectual in today's climate is that nobody pays attention to my idiotic suggestions.

2 Name: (₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ : 1993-09-5135 14:32

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ Schools should avoid doing anything that might damage a child's precious self esteem. That way, when they finally make it to the real world, they'll be totally unable to cope with finding out just how unimportant they really are.

3 Name: (₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ : 1993-09-5135 14:48

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ We should downplay or even disparage success. After all, successful people might start to feel superior to losers, and that wouldn't be nice.

4 Name: ( ・∀・) : 1993-09-5135 17:02

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ Bah, all government should be a meritocracy. Losers can feel terrible for all I care.

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ Myself, I subscribe to ˆζˆζˆism. To find out more about my deeply held personal beliefs, please read this ˆζˆζˆ authored by a ˆζˆman I don't personally know, but that caters to my own prejudices, fears, and sense of righteous indignation.

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ ...TO THE DQN ZONE.

8 Name: (₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ : 1993-09-5136 13:30

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ Perhaps if we convince the unwashed masses that the earth warming up would, against all historical evidence to the contrary, be a bad thing, they will cease driving those horrible minivans and SUVs so much, and I'll be able to see more than one car ahead of me while driving.

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ Maybe we should blame CO2, which is normally harmless, and beneficial to plant growth.

9 Name: (₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ : 1993-09-5136 19:49

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ Speaking of plants, there's this forest we've gotta cut down. We need to clear space for a stretch of highway so I can drive my H3 across, alone, to get a hamburger. We'll cut down this other forest later to make room for free-range cattle grazing land and more fast food restaurants. What's methane, anyway?

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ Well, this didn't go as planned. I'll decide whom to blame later.

15 Name: (₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ : 1993-09-5137 04:31

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ I am the Architect. I created the matrix. I've been waiting for you. You have many questions, and although the process has altered your consciousness, you remain irrevocably human. Ergo, some of my answers you will understand, and some of them you will not. Concordantly, while your first question may be the most pertinent, you may or may not realize it is also irrelevant.
Your life is the sum of a remainder of an unbalanced equation inherent to the programming of the matrix. You are the eventuality of an anomaly, which despite my sincerest efforts I have been unable to eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mathematical precision. While it remains a burden to sedulously avoid it, it is not unexpected, and thus not beyond a measure of control. Which has led you, inexorably, here......

20 Name: ( ・∀・) : 1993-09-5138 00:50

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ Men can never be free, because they're weak, corrupt, worthless... and restless. The people believe in authority. They've grown tired of waiting for miracle or mystery. Science is their religion - no greater explanation exists for them! They must never believe any differently if my vast, international, global warming conspiracy project is to go forward. I should be able to see over the car in front of me without a booster seat, dammit!

24 Name: (₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α- : 1993-09-5140 01:07

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ Thechnically, exception is féminin, and therefore so is nullpo. It means that you were supposed to say "Ceci n'est pas une nullpo", mon ami.

25 Name: ( ・∀・) : 1993-09-5140 02:09

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ Technically, 'thechnically' is not a word, ma cher.

27 Name: ( ・∀・) : 1993-09-5140 04:07

29 Name: (₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ : 1993-09-5142 04:23

(₯ิ₯ิ)‚Α-̾ Well, the gender comes from the word "_exception", not from "pointeur". You could say it's "une exception due à un pointeur nul".
I'm demoting you to Canadian.

32 Name: ( ・∀・) : 1993-09-5142 13:57

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ Nyet! "Le pointeur NULL est le pointeur vide." le. LE!

33 Name: (₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ : 1993-09-5142 17:43

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ This appears to be a translation which bears much unnecessary complexity, as it introduces a verb which wasn't in the original\"Null pointer exception"\while this verb is not required for an accurate translation. But you are not addressing the core of my explanation, which is that the gender of the expression doesn't come from the word "pointeur" but from the word "exception", the "pointeur vide" being only a complement. The very nature of the NULLPO is the exception, not the pointer which raised it. You need to become a stronger grammarian.

34 Name: ( ・∀・) : 1993-09-5142 18:06

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ I know I'm right about everything, but when I'm feeling conflicted, talk radio helps to reinforce my fragile belief system with anger and outrage against my fellow man.

35 Name: ( ・∀・) : 1993-09-5142 18:11

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ Babel Fish tells me null pointer exception translates as "exception d'indicateur nul" in French. Therefore, I am fluent in French, as well as every language it is capable of crudely translating for me.

36 Name: ( ・∀・) : 1993-09-5142 18:16

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ I never sold out, I only joined the establishment so I could destroy it from within. After I get my 401K.

37 Name: ( ・∀・) : 1993-09-5142 18:52

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ Babel Fish tells me that "your mom has a null pointer exception in the C language" translates as "votre mère a une exception d'indicateur nul dans le langage C". And as your mom is a man, nullpo is therefore masculine. CQFD.

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ We child prodigies were too rare, too scattered to be easily sampled and generalized about, at least till the Net...

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ But the result is, I've spent my life being mistaken for a strange gifted person. I'm not. Gifted, I mean (strange, sure, I'll cop to that one). I'm something as different from gifted as gifted is from average. I look just as eccentric to the gifted as to normal people.

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ But are my oddities really personal? When I study the lives of others in the same IQ range, I suddenly look rather normal--in fact, more socialized than most. I'm not in jail, haven't killed myself or died of stress-related illness. That puts me well up on the functional side of the over-180 IQ group right there. Terman's classic long-range study chose two examples for this group and said they'd managed "perhaps the best adjustment that can be made..." Five years after picking these two, a follow-up study found them both dead: cancer and suicide. Suddenly mere allergies and social isolation don't look so bad...

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ Which of the eccentricities of a genius are neuroses or defenses? Which arise from the biochemical quirks that create extreme giftedness? Which are individual character traits, and which are merely habits of any highly intellligent person? Which are the results of a different maturational process? Which arise from living among people who can't understand you? Unless you have known a reasonably representative sample of geniuses, (and who has?) it's better to ask than assume you know. You probably don't.

Sometimes when I'm with an intellectually inferior person, I like to string large words together with no real meaning. That way the undecipherabely confusing things I say just sound doubly intelligent. Then that person will tell their smarter friend that I'm super-smart, and when they come to sample some of my genius I will tell them to go away because they are not smart enough for me. I seem like I am too intellectual for him and this annoys and confuses him because his friend keeps saying how smart I am and he wants to know but he can not because he is not worthy!!!

Myopia is the only thing that would fit my character, but my frequent reading of complicated material did not make me imperfect in that regard. But its physical diction over men, lonely crowds ruled and united solely by their own economy, allows it to shift its locus and blur its tracks so that any analysis of its history becomes discredited by the present. When labour is reorganised to accomodate for automation, the commodity produced is both immaterial and fundamental to the spectacle, a contradiction which reflects its nature as having its own non-realisation as the only permissable goal. In colonised territories, hyperdeveloped societies at the periphery of spectacular absolution distort the native population to the point that every continued aspect of their unintegrated existence becomes a commodity, along with each negation in turn. This produces unique markets, accompanied by their typical dialogues, which, as well as buttressing the reigning order \ as do all other commodities \ can become exports to serve any needs of the spectacle across the planet. Whether these needs \ the drive for ghomeland security,h for example \ arose because of the repercussions of commodifying colonisation or not is impossible to distinguish, as our orders are perpetually articulated a step ahead of our awareness.

In what you can read in history books, by no means has the US democracy been errorless, but itfs easy to see that in relation to the previous eras of the country where it continued to evolve in a manner that reflected the ideas of the day and intentions, this one is perversely manipulated by an absolute undermining of the system that was established to keep it fair and intelligible. Opening the ability to gwire-spyh on anyone does not seem like a step backwards, but a step in a different direction of progression towards a much less democratic state. I agree that it is a failure on the part of the democratic representation to sell their liberty for a chance of security. Perhaps the own freedoms of democracy are inherently subject to the exploitation of itself.

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ While this may discrdedt my arguement, I draw my conclusions from the universe of Star Trek. Hear me out. In the Star Trek universe, human beings no longer work for the pursuit of money or material gains. This shift in attachment to physical objects stemmed from the invention of the replicator and the elimination of the need to work to provide sustinence. Once the basic needs of the population was met, society shifted. Now, take that point, that changes in attitudes towards money and accumulation of wealth can only change when the means of acquiring that wealth changes. No longer were people defined by what they did or what they had, but by who they were. When no one was starving and everyone had shelter and clothing readily available to them, not to mention that any luxury items were a click away, the world was a better place. Now lets assume we extend that model to our own universe. If the government places itself in a position where it provides all the necessities of life to its population, regardless of social class or wealth, then materialism diminsihes. People are happier and more content with themselves when they know that they are not being forced into an unhappy situation so they can simply survive. No one should have to be put into a situation like that. Once the government starts to provide universal health care, reduce or eliminate rent in many developing communities, and increase funding and access to food re-distribution programs then the general population will become happier and move more towards a society that would accept socialist rule. Basically, we canft change the way people act without first changing the conditions they are in.

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ The way shown how we come by any knowledge, sufficient to prove it not innate. It is an established opinion amongst some men, that there are in the understanding certain innate principles; some primary notions, koinai ennoiai, characters, as it were stamped upon the mind of man; which the soul receives in its very first being, and brings into the world with it. It would be sufficient to convince unprejudiced readers of the falseness of this supposition, if I should only show (as I hope I shall in the following parts of this Discourse) how men, barely by the use of their natural faculties, may attain to all the knowledge they have, without the help of any innate impressions; and may arrive at certainty, without any such original notions or principles. For I imagine any one will easily grant that it would be impertinent to suppose the ideas of colours innate in a creature to whom God hath given sight, and a power to receive them by the eyes from external objects: and no less unreasonable would it be to attribute several truths to the impressions of nature, and innate characters, when we may observe in ourselves faculties fit to attain as easy and certain knowledge of them as if they were originally imprinted on the mind.

The disgusting way in which they absorb and regurgitate it without really learning offends me. A gem of wisdom passed through many unworthy hands looses all value. Knowledge is a thing to be horded.

(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ What most Westerners fail to realize about "Gangnam Style" is that it is a thinly veiled satire of the conspicuously materialistic lifestyle exemplified by poseurs who claim to be from that particular neighborhood, from which true natives rarely admit to be, mostly on account of the poseurs and its reputation for incredible opulence.
(₯ิ_₯ิ)‚Α-̾ The reason most Westerners fail to realize this is because a large symptom of this affluenza is dressed up in indulging in Western things; however, it is done to an extent few Westerners would dare for fear of going bankrupt.
