In our case it's not so much about communication and getting along. Things started out really well, then when we got more serious we realized there are solid legitimate roadblocks. We both still love each other, but as it stands the relationship simply will not go where either of us want it to. And that sucks.

I know there are others out there, and that it's hard to have a good perspective from the inside. I just need to let it out, I guess.
