I was randomly checking out the lactation article at wikipedia, went over to induced lactation, and lo and behold there was not only talk about male lactation but also an entire page about it. I checked out http://www.unassistedchildbirth.com/miscarticles/milkmen.html
and this is all sorts of awesome and hilarious.
I hope men breastfeeding kids instead of baby formula when the woman can't (disease, b0rked glands, whatever) will get more common. Or shared breastfeeding, that should get popular with the guys who feel left out when the chick spends so much time breastfeeding and bonding with the kid.

Besides, this is big and quite relevant to society as a whole.
My boyfriend's medication has a side effect of lactation. I've yet to ask him how that's going since he started on it a few month ago... (tbh, I really don't want to know).
But I can't see a man produce enough milk for consistent feeding, but if the medication was developed, it would be an excellent idea if the woman can't. Formulas are just not the best thing for a baby.
Oh! And, as weird as it may seem, but it could be "farmed" as well! There's a breast milk donation organization! Strange, but if you're feeling charitable...

Flat chested women have no problems producing enough breast milk to feed their babies. Guys is the same thing. It's not the amount of fat tissue that matters for milk quantity, but the capability of the existent glands.

Shirou Masamune's Galgrease features a female cowboy that gets large due to fluid retention and has to eject said fluid to relieve the soreness.

even flat chested women have small amount of boobage to breast feed the baby, with men its completely flat.
besides men lack a lot of things to make this even viable. i know some drugs like steroids or "le hrt" can have side effects or be purposed to trigger this, but if you are doing hrt you aren't going to have kids anyways so why does it matter.
with regular men, why would trust some random ass drug to make milk, even if it is approved.
