He and his merry crew of unexplored, unexamined, uninspired cardboard cutout ciphers go in search of a quick buck, nookie, and a Cosmic MacGuffin, not necessarily in that order, never batting an eyelash as they pile up a truly impressive body count along the way. The retro space-opera background looks fascinating, but I wish the writers had put as much effort into making the characters interesting or engaging.

I've never really been into many Mech series. I really like Eureka 7 a lot though. and Evangleion has to be given it's own share of respect. The opening scene for burst angel was incredible but I haven't actually watched past the first episode yet so I'm not too sure if I like it.
Eureka 7 and Evangelion, along with Gundam Wing(when I was younger.. I don't remember anything about it anymore) are really the only mech shows I've watched through and finished though.
