It just occurred to me, paparazzi wouldn't be allowed into the terminal area, they'd need a ticket and pass security, so if those are paps photos then he landed in LA from Nashville, but he was leaving the airport to be in LA.
Simply, these pictures just popped up on tumblr out of the blue. Question: do we have a verifiable/reliable/official source? Answer: No

But, from the title, he gave this interview at LAX, so maybe he isn't staying in LA but it's a layover to do this interview before leaving the US for good. I mean why doing an interview in an airport if you are staying in the city?

The luggage cart was in the hand of an airport staff person, maybe it was for him, maybe not, TH was just holding his guitar, and in all the photos I saw of him in airports, he always carried his own luggage.
Anyway, if he didn't pick-up his luggage it's a layover to give the interview, if he did it might still be a short stay at one of the luxury hotel near LAX to give the interview.
It seems unlike to me to give an interview at LAX if you have a room booked in LA.

A big portion of the Tom Hiddleston tumblr fandom is extremely gullible and will take as gospel whatever "insider info" is fed to them. My theory is that the group of people that catfished that poor Victoria/Shaitana woman on tumblr last year are the same ones who fed Town Bike all of her original information. IIRC there were three people involved in the catfishing of Shaitana - a male who impersonated Tom/one of Tom's friends, a "former FWB," and the "ex" Samantha. They had an elaborate system, Skype accounts, e-mail addresses, and UK phone numbers. All of Town Bike's info showed up within a very short period of time, from a "friend," a "former FWB" and the Samantha story - all the same fake info repeated. Even though the Samantha story was completely discredited, people for some reason still want to believe all the rest of it and whatever else gets posted on Town Bike.
This nw3anon keeps changing her story. I think the account is run by one of the people who has been trying to discredit Town Bike repeatedly over the last year. They're usually pretty convincing at the beginning but then can't keep their own story straight.

Since he's part of the list, at the end they talk about C. Hemsworth, mentioning the success of his superhero films as leverage to use with the studios - which reminded me that TH might have done most of the promo but it's still Thor you read in the title, so all the merit falls on CH.
Anyway, following my reading of HighRise, I noticed that all of TH's upcoming films are, for different reasons, difficult films to market, High Rise is very violent and graphic and disturbing, CP has an incest and is also violent, ISTL is about a musician who doesn't have international fame.
So while it's true that actors have to choose their projects within the limit of what is offered to them, I wondered if after all Skull Island is a way to do a blockbuster where he is the lead to show the studios that he is "good for the buck" too.
I'm reading too much into it, aren't I?
