( ﾟ -ﾟ) People like James Randi who dismiss things as frauds by default are not skeptics. They have perverted the word, and they are just as dogmatic as the people they attack.

Imagine if you told the Greeks we don't shoot light beams from our eyes, or the Victorians that there isn't an all-present "aether", and that light actually travels through amazingly fast and impossibly small particles called "photons".
( ﾟ -ﾟ) Perhaps it won't be ghosts or skeletons we prove are real, but fields like parapsychology are becoming more accepted and making solid advances as a result. Even if nothing happens, it's more empirical to try and to fail than dismiss it as wrong from the outset.

"I have put great effort into constructing my claims in such a manner that you can't disprove it, neener neener" is the opposite of that.
