I like japan, too, but god DAMN! Seriously, guys. Get out of your "I'm-an-otaku-so-I'm-Japanese-and-give-a-shit-about-everything-in-japanese-pop-culture"
mindset. I did. I enjoy anime, I enjoy some J-pop occasionally, I enjoy rice sometimes, I want to try riceballs, even mochi (the sticky rice treat), and I read manga... I'm American, though. I'm not lying to myself. WHile I'm not exactly proud of my country at the moment, I think since I live here, I might as well try to give a damn about what's going on. I don't mind a few "JAPANJAPANJAPAN" threads, either, but wake the hell up and talk about what's going on in YOUR neck of the woods.

As for moderated non-anonymous forums, I have a few of my own of those. While they're practically deserted, I understand that an aristocracy forms from the people who post more or have higher post counts or seniority. Newgrounds, I think, is the finest example of a non-anonymous aristocracy board. This can be avoided ismply if those who have seniority actually respect the others. You became popular not for acting like you're better than everyone, don't act like that now.
