Last night, I had a nightmare that I was trapped in /vip/. When I went to bed, rather than holding a small girl as I fell asleep, I was subject to torment from thousands of people in a big mob around my house, screaming, "JEWS! JEWS! JEWS!" People pounding on my windows, kicking my door, and stomping on my roof. I'm so glad that I woke up from that one.

Let me tell you about a true story that happened to me back in June of 1992.

I went by the docks one morning after I saw something the night before when I was out on one of my walks. An old fishermen was cleaning his decks and I figured he'd know something. ``Ahoy there, laddy," he said to me. ``Anything I can do for ye?" I felt a bit nervous, but I started my story: ``Well, this might sound a bit odd, but... last night, I saw a beautiful girl down here on the docks." He lifted an eyebrow and began to look at me a bit more seriously. ``She was very pale, with long, sparkling blonde hair. She was beautiful, almost too beautiful, and then -- I'm not sure if this really happened, or if I imagined it -- but I thought I saw her jump off!" The old fisherman shook his head slowly. ``Oh, that was ol' Espeon you saw. She comes by, tho' I haven't seen her for quite a bit now. She used to be quite famous down here when she came on a cruise ship from Russia an' decided on stayin' after a young man stole away her heart!" He shook his head slowly, mournfully, before continuing. ``They shortly married, and they were all the talk of the town! But her husband, ( ˃ ヮ˂), was doin' all kin's of abusin' to her a few years in, or so I heard. He took her wee spot of happiness away. Tho' them be only rumors. She took her own life, jumpin off this very dock'' -- he thumbs down -- ``and went out to sleep with the fishies.'' He rubbed his beard and I could see him holding back tears. ``The young man's head leveled with grief, but oh, it was too late. He cleaned himself up, and felt drawn to the waters, maybe by her spirit. He sailed all around the sea, a bearin' his sadness. And he may be an old man now, but he knows that some day, she'll come back to take him with her."

Okay, listen to me. Have a look through this thread. Look at the number of posts made by either you or Espeon, both talking about nothing but yourselves and/or trying to start a two-man circlejerk. Now look at the number of posts criticising either you or Espeon. The rest are literally all unrelated. This thread has only two genuine participants: you and Espeon.

You might say "Well what's wrong with that?" To be honest, I don't care about your ridiculous infatuation. I have no desire to prevent you from talking to Espeon, and, although I think tripcode usage is in general a bad idea, I don't think Espeon is a person who shouldn't be here. He's just a little too self obsessed.

Ultimately, however, this thread is an eye sore. There are only ten threads on the front page, and I don't want 10% of them to be shit that all but two of the DQN populace actively hates. I don't want to have to scroll past this verbal diarrhea every fucking day, and I don't want anyone else to have to either. Therefore, I propose a solution. Two, in fact!

1) (The more preferred solution) You and Espeon exchange email addresses. You can continue your ridiculous worshipping in privacy, Espeon gets the attention he evidently craves, and the rest of us don't have to put up with this. The two of you are also entirely free from criticism from the rest of us.

2) (The less preferred solution) Nobody bumps this thread again. You and Espeon continue to post here using sage. You can keep this thread bookmarked if you like. As above, the two of you can satisfy each others desires and the rest of us remain undisturbed.

A message specifically to anyone besides >>1 and Espeon:
Please, don't post in this thread again. Not even with sage. Not even to tell them how terrible this thread is. Don't give either person anything to respond to. I personally plan to bump this thread off the front page every time I see it, and I would appreciate anyone of a sympathetic opinion to do the same.

A message specifically to Espeon:
I don't hate you. I only hate the fact that you post with a tripcode. You have been mocked and ostracised countless times for using it. I cannot understand why you cling to it but it has become obvious that you don't want to give it up, so I won't ask you to. Please, however, try to be more considerate towards other posters. Don't obsess over yourself as you are prone to doing. The best way to silence those who hate you is to make yourself a better poster.

A message specifically to >>1:
I have no idea who you are (supposedly you're Tokiko?) and I have no desire to know, but your posts are consistently a pain to read. As I have already said, I don't care about your infatuation with Espeon and nor does anybody else. Personally I love my waifu very much but I understand that it isn't appropriate to mention her at every available opportunity, so I don't. I have never even mentioned her name on DQN; there simply hasn't been any reason. Similarly, there is no reason for you to keep posting about Espeon everywhere. Be considerate of the rest of us and we will treat you as an equal. If you refuse to do this, just leave.

57 Name: ( ˃ ヮ˂) : 1993-09-6728 21:18

>>56
Both those who appreciated my feats and I were staying on topic. The rest one-and-a-half person was off-topic.

But let's talk about your post and you. In fact, you're trying to get the last word here while telling everyone to literally STFU. You aren't anyone's boss.

Firstly, if I craved for attention you would see my tripcode blazing everywhere in the internet-neighbourhood. Secondly, that affection of that "You" person is his personal thing. I'm unsure whenever it's good or bad that you keep your waifu a secret from everyone. But then again it's your personal choice. If you don't talk about it, it doesn't mean that anyone else shouldn't.

It's quite amusing that you promise to bump this thread off. What a marvelous way to sink DQN in bad quality! Also, you threaten to be flooding if people don't stop posting here. Aren't you a little angry terrorist? You might be even slightly envious deep inside!

Overall your post is one huge "I DON'T GET IT!" outcry. But here is the answer, "You don't have to. There are many things that neither you nor I understand."

I have only one question to you. Why didn't you follow your own advice?

>>59
The majority opinions... of your self? And why do you use sage, anyway? It's not going to kill the thread, like it would on an imageboard, and it's not going to make the thread sink off Page 0 magically (because you obviously want replies, which is what a discussion is all about). I think you put sage in the email field for the same reason Espeon-chan does, as a means of identity. And that'd be hypocritical if you're the same guy that hates our Espeon for using a tripcode.

>>58
You raise a lot of good points. I drew this for you also. I hope you like it. Please don't get stressed out too much about nonironic dokkyuns. The internet's about having fun and taking it easy. Please don't become upset because of the trolls ;_; Did you know that America's greatest president, Abraham Lincoln, was shot and killed for being such an upstanding and moral person? Remind yourself of that. As long as you're sure that you're right you should never give up.

61 Name: !ESpeoN/nPA : 1993-09-6729 21:18

>>59
It was poorly thought-out. I pointed out to this in the last sentence which is hidden under that "Post too long" thingie! Try to see it my way, I'm sure you'll be able to understand.

I'd also like to point out that what mr.>>44 tried to quote isn't a mere abuse of memes that any child of the internet could do, but a rather bold hint which no one seems to get.

62 Name: !ESpeoN/nPA : 1993-09-6729 21:21

What I mean is as soon as you feel it, man, as soon as you get into that stream of consciousness (or even subconsciousness!)... a soon as you find it, you will understand everything. You'll see what I am really, you'll see the reason behind me. But it's something that I don't wish anyone to reach. There is no way back.

>>58
I had hoped it wouldn't turn out like this, but so be it.

> Both those who appreciated my feats and I were staying on topic

There has only ever been one person who "appreciated your feats". The fact that they were staying on topic is hardly surprising considering they're the same person who started the thread. Whether people remain on topic or not is irrelevant; this topic does not need discussion.

> you're trying to get the last word here while telling everyone to literally STFU

I thought long and hard before deciding to recommend people not to post in this thread again. The point was not to prevent anyone from posting at all, it was to actually allow what I recommended to take place. I appreciate that this was an unlikely prospect to begin with, and seeing as it has become obvious that you aren't being cooperative, I take back what I said. I don't mind people posting here and I'm not going to try to bury the thread.

> if I craved for attention you would see my tripcode blazing everywhere in the internet-neighbourhood

Frankly, I don't believe you have posted anonymously at all since taking up your tripcode.

> that affection of that "You" person is his personal thing

I think it's safe to say that it involves you as well.

> you keep your waifu a secret from everyone

No, I simply don't talk about her where it isn't relevant. There has never been a thread or discussion in a thread regarding people's waifus and, unlike some, I don't feel the need to shout my love from the rooftops. Is that such a terrible thing?

> You promise to bump this thread off

I promised nothing. It was simply my plan at the time, which, unfortunately, relied on you being cooperative. Evidently I was too optimistic.

> What a marvelous way to sink DQN in bad quality!

I'm not even 100% sure what you were trying to say here. Do you mean to say that making ten posts in ten separate threads is somehow going to reduce the overall quality of this website?

> your post is one huge "I DON'T GET IT!" outcry

Yes, you're absolutely right! I don't "get" what compels either of you to post what you do. Regardless, it has become obvious that it is not conducive to the enjoyment of other people here. I am not going to pretend that I stand for every poster here; I don't need to. They have made their opinions clear enough already, even if you weren't listening.

> Why didn't you follow your own advice?

My two pieces of advice were "exchange email addresses with Espeon" and "be more considerate of others". Please, go back and read the part of my post addressed to you again.

I want to make my stance absolutely clear. I am not telling either of you to leave. I am not telling you to stop posting with a tripcode. I only want what is best for everyone here. I have always tried to make recommendations which are in the best interests of all involved, even if I don't agree with or "get" them.

My previous post was directed towards >>1. This one is for you. I don't hate you, but the posts you make are... not very good. They rarely add anything to the discussion and all too often rely on poorly used jokes and references. Even so, you have occasionally made good posts as well, and I have no reason whatsoever to want you gone. I simply want you to think about what you post more. As I said previously, be considerate. Do other people really want to read that? Does it further the discussion? Is it actually funny?

I also can't help but notice that you're posting habits are very different from anyone else's. You very rarely post in the collaborative threads, such as the DQN Short Novel thread or the song threads. You post mainly about your own opinions or things you personally find interesting. You only reply to or enter ongoing discussions with people when they criticise you.

I can't help but feel that you are trying to live up to the name you have created for yourself. Try posting anonymously a little. It feels wonderful to be able to offer a throwaway comment or judgement without any consequences!

Please, consider what I have said.

64 Name: ( ˃ ヮ˂) : 1993-09-6729 22:24

>>63san, >>63san. It's not the posts themselves but the ideas behind it. Why are you posting? Is it because there's a thread you don't like? Or is it because you feel you have good contributions to make, clever ideas are coming to you, and you honestly want to make DQN a better place? By forcing Espeon's thread off Page 0, you're not making it a more open, a warmer place to hang out, a more fun and more take-it-easy place. You're forcing your own ideologies on others in a crude and primitive way.

And >>63sama, perhaps Espeon contributes anonymously to your threads you value more than others. There's all kinds of things that make DQN DQN, and everyone approaches it differently. Tripcode users aren't bound to their trips; no, that's the strength of an anonymous forum. For all we know, YOU could be Espeon, trying to stir up ridiculous drama!

You're taking this all much to seriously. There's a lot of people that appreciate Espeon (sorry to present such a radical fact, but that's the way it has to be) and there's been threads in the past that I haven't like before either. But you know what I did? I didn't try to bury them under other threads, I didn't try to get people to stop posting in them. I just ignored them, or tried to appreciate them for what they were. And that's exactly what you have to do, >>63. My relationship with Espeon isn't like your make-believe love for Japanese cartoon characters; I've never even masturbated to drawn pornography of her, if you can believe it. I just enjoy her posts, in the same way I enjoy yours or anyone else's. We're all friends here.

You have an awful grasp on English which makes this painful to read, barring the numerous straw-man fallacies of course. Just stick to anonymity and we'll all continue quietly assuming the horrible and unfunny posts were yours anyway.

She's Russian, as has been stated multiple times.

She actually has great English from what I can tell. Ever watched old movies? If a Russian speaks English, it's always really broken up and heavily accented. Espeon must be a genius among geniuses. I tried to learn Russian back in high school for fun. I can read the Cyrillic Alphabet (well, good enough...) but the grammar was weird as hell in combination with that. Russians must be really funky people. I wonder how many Russians have succumbed to the power of the Spirial.

Russian is so easy as to be boring. Also, why of all things use 'old movies' as a standard against which to judge non-native English speakers? You're retarded.

We can only understand the ideas behind things in this world through the exposures of them we're given, no matter how brief. I am following through on empiricism completely as I know it. I've met non-native speakers of English in the past, so I know that there are good and bad speakers of the language, but from my experiences, all speakers of Russin have been poor with English. You need to understand this. I'm working logically, I'm working intelligently, I'm working philosophically: the Voice of God, that is, is telling me that Espeon must be at least of above average intelligence. Unlike things like painting, playing sports, or other talents we can have, learning a language like English (for a Russian) takes extreme dedication and skill. Look, >>76. How many Russians have you met before? How many Russians do you know? And how good are most of them with English? If your results are any different than mine, then we will combine our experiences to form a revised hypothesis. But let me tell you, blind faith in anything other than the scientific experience as well as the existence of God will only lead you to problems in life. I've been on this beautiful world for nearly forty years now, and I'm in perfect strength, I'm healthy, and I'm in tune with the world around me. I'm a valued member of my community. If you're going to tell me that I'm retarded for following through in the process of knowledge, wisdom, and intelligence, I won't stop you; but empiricism as Hume presented it is more beautiful than anything in this world you can see, taste, hear, smell, and touch because it allows you to SEE beyond the surface. I would recommend reading these books to give you an introduction into the world of intelligent thinking:

Tell me what you think if you have not read them already.

I would like to make this perfectly clear: the "Don't post in this thread again" section of my post was directed towards everyone apart from >>1 and Espeon, including me. After that I had absolutely no intention of replying again. The purpose of this instruction was to allow for what I had recommended to take place; the two of you exchange email addresses or continue to talk using sage.

The reason I didn't adhere to my own advice was because >>58 made it obvious that, for whatever reason, he wasn't willing to cooperate, rendering the entire endeavour meaningless. In my next post I thought I made it clear that I had taken back what I said, but evidently I was not clear enough.

On another note, >>74 was not me. Whilst the spelling/grammatical errors are annoying, it wasn't particularly relevant so I didn't point it out. As it happens, English is not my first language either, it's Hungarian.

Frankly, I'm sick of dealing with both of you. You are beyond help. I proposed several solutions, I tried to be reasonable and respectful, but to no avail. I suppose I shall have to take the same attitude as >>82, but you know exactly how I and everybody else feels about the two of you.
