When I read things that I wrote in the past, I shake my head and find them highly embarrassing. "What a freaking tool I was back then," I think to myself. However, if I pretend that the things are written by a total stranger, I find myself instead thinking, "Hey, this is a pretty cool guy. I think I'd get along well with him."
