Why am I giving for a cause before it's even done anything?
Why not earn the money yourself if you need it? I might be able to get investors, but people on the streets wouldn't just give me money for a project even if it was noncommercial.

Asking for free money because you're a content creator is dumb. Imagine if instead of saving up for their instruments, The Beatles went around Merseyside asking, "Hello, me and my friends are trying to start a band. Would you mind giving us a quid or two so we can afford instruments and a studio?"
Not to mention content creation is fun. Welders or bricklayers may be able to get an advance, but they can't say, "Oh I'll probably weld some trucks or lay a few bricks in the future. Mind giving me some money now?"

This is my new favourite VN, and it pretty much changed my life. Sounds like eye-rolling material right? Well it's what happened. Most other visual novels were pretty much just about the porn and the subsequent fapping. Katawa Shoujo was not, and it showed me what life could be. Rin and Lilly both. Now I'm running, eating better, drawing, learning ASL, and going to college after two years of doing nothing. I have a better understanding of myself and my life and how I want to live and the happiness that I seek to obtain. That I will obtain.
All because of this "cripple porn game." Heh.
