Do not try and skew the polls, that's impossible. Instead only try and realize the truth.

What truth?

There are no Polls.

There are no polls?

Then you will see it is not the polls that skew, it is only yourself.

When I got out I was in that, I was already through that, I had that. I had the studio. I went to the studio, I went to Fox studios. I had it all and I looked at it and I said this a bigger jail than I just got out of. I don't wanna take my time going to work. I got a motorcycle and a sleeping bag, and ten or fifteen girls. Why the hell I wanna go off and go to work for? Money? I got all the money in the world. I'm the king, man. I run the underworld, guy. I decide who does what and where they do it at. What am I gonna run around and act like I'm some teeny bopper or somewhere for somebody else's money? I make the money, man. I roll the nickels. The game is mine.

The increasingly demented and film-obsessed Gaea has replaced the Avatar that Jones destroyed at the end of Wizard with a new one, a 50-foot-tall (15 m) replica of Marilyn Monroe. She spends her time in a travelling film festival of her own making, called Pandemonium, where she is attended by various humans, zombies, and many bizarre creatures of her own creation, such as living film cameras.

Hypercontextualization is only possible due the suberosion of artificial psychobarriers which are remnants of our exindividualistic (modern) society. In the Information Age, the homo sapiens sapien is left seemingly unvocalized through his numb awareness that "he" cannot find autoliberation from society's collective unconscious; his realization that the simulacrum (if that) is all that can be seen through his unanimated remediation strips free any "meaning" or "authenticity" that the puppet's antibiography artificially detailed in painstaking detail.

What was once presentation is now representation; what was creation is now recreation. Truth is established not through strength of the individual OR the society, but through the illusion of change in the philological pastime of semiotic shift. Kierkegaard's leveling, the fear which fear itself feared, is the postmodern satori.

Although threatened by the fleeting truths of modern experience that artists like Manet, Degas, or Monet elected to paint, classical mythology, like a proper education in Greek and Latin, remained a cornerstone of nineteenth-century art and culture, propagated by the academies and illustrated in countless official paintings. It was also subject to intensely personal, even perverse interpretations that could use ancient legends to trigger voyages during which the cold marble facts of ancient sculpture, venerated and slavishly copied in the art schools, would evaporate into the strangest mists. So it was with Gustave Moreau's odd visions of antiquity, opium dreams of his own invention. His Orpheus of 1865, when shown at the Salon the following year, needed the artist's own verbal explanation in the catalogue to clarify his deviation from more orthodox depictions of the legend. The inventor of music so beautiful it could charm man and beast, Orpheus had met a gruesome end when he was torn to pieces by the enraged women of Thrace (whose love he had rejected), his head and lyre thrown into a stream. This ferocious group murder could, in fact, be seen at the same Salon of 1866 in a painting by Emile Levy. But Moreau imagined instead a later moment of erotic contemplation rather than one of overt physical violence, conjuring up a "young girl who reverently recovers Orpheus's head and lyre." In Moreau's painting, this Thracian maiden now stares as if hypnotized by her strange captive, a disembodied head fused with the musical instrument he played as he sang. Seen through a misty scrim of twilight tones, this morbid vision wafts us off to what the dean of Surrealism, Andre Breton, would later admire as a "somnambulistic world."

Indeed, Moreau might well be credited as a pioneer in the opening of hazy, disquieting vistas that could begin to plumb the depths of that subconscious fantasy life so prominent in the art and thought of the twentieth century. Supported by a study of Leonardo's otherworldly landscapes of distant waters and strange, almost translucent grottoes, Moreau invented a magical environment where we are not surprised to find bizarre shifts in size (the piping shepherds on the rocks above) or even a pair of what look like prehistoric tortoises in the right foreground, probably an allusion to the myth that their shells were used in the invention of the lyre.

Though partly prophesied by Chasseriau and partly shared by such contemporaries as Burne-Jones and Puvis de Chavannes, Moreau's floating world of cultivated inward sensation and fantasy was remarkably precocious, a voice in the wilderness that announced the more concerted explorations of morbid, inward reverie found in the Symbolist domain of the 1890s. By the end of the century, a vast international repertory of drugged silence, introspective mythmaking, decapitated heads, and demonic women could trace its ancestry back to Moreau's first hallucinatory paintings of the 1860s.

In their studies of rural Poland, the Polish historians Jan Grabowski, who teaches at the University of Ottawa, and Barbara Engelking, of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, have shown how this happened. First, German police and Polish village leaders enlisted peasants to comb the forests for Jews who were attempting to survive, often in hand-dug caves and bunkers. Once discovered, the Jews were usually executed on the spot, often by German policemen but sometimes by Polish ones. Jews who took shelter with Polish peasants likewise were usually hunted down and killed. This was due not to frequent patrols by the German police, who were actually few and far between, but to the watchful eyes of other Poles, recording in an invisible ledger every commonplace fact, such as extra portions of bread or milk being consumed by a given household. The members of one Polish family lost their lives when German gendarmes\tipped off by the familyfs neighbors\discovered stores of food intended for Jews in hiding (who were also discovered and shot).

That Hitler was possessed by the devil is also believed by some members of the Catholic Church. Father Gabriele Amorth, an exorcist of the Vatican is "convinced that the Nazis were all possessed. All you have to do is think about what Hitler did. Almost certainly they were possessed by the Devil."[16] There even are documents that state that Pope Pius XII tried to perform an exorcism on Hitler at a distance, but failed.[16]

At all times, there have been opposite tendencies in philosophy and it does not seem that these tendencies are on the verge of being reconciled. It is no doubt because there are different souls and that we cannot change anything in these souls. There is therefore no hope of seeing harmony established between the pragmatists and the Cantorians. Men do not agree because they do not speak the same language, and there are languages which cannot be learned.

Even though I know it's only chemical,
These peaks and valleys are beginning to take their toll.
Trying to convince myself that all it takes is time,
But the most derisive voice I hear is mine.

It opens all the scars on me,
It leaves me shaken in my belief,
It takes my hand just to drag me down,
It makes me a stranger in the crowd.
Give me isolation just for now,
I feel a hard rain coming down.
I promise that I will be back soon,
But for now I'll return to my cocoon.

There is thunder in the distance and the sky grows gray,
There is lighting in the clouds in search of prey.
It's not a matter of if as much as when,
The clouds will break and the rainfall will begin.

It opens all the scars on me,
It leaves me shaken in my belief,
It takes my hand just to drag me down,
It makes me a stranger in the crowd.
Give me isolation just for now,
I feel a hard rain coming down.
I promise that I will be back soon,
But for now I'll return to my cocoon.

Cracks in the chrysalis spread out like tiny snakes,
That hiss a litany of rumors and mistakes.
But I'm afraid their cause is fraught with futility,
There is nothing more that they can take from me.

It opens all the scars on me,
It leaves me shaken in my belief,
It takes my hand just to drag me down,
It makes me a stranger in the crowd.
Give me isolation just for now,
I feel a hard rain coming down.
I promise that I will be back soon,
But for now I'll return to my cocoon.

If I get super into something, it has to be something that comes with absolutely zero pretense. If any group of people believe that enjoying it means they have better taste than someone else, I canft deal with it. Thatfs why I love Big Bang Theory way more than Community, and love Twilight way more than Harry Potter.
