Edit: stop replying to this. Things like durability are a joke as no one, not even a dedicated typist wears out a keyboard due to too many keystrokes. Its due to excess force or mistreatment a keyboard would break. Response time and clicky and all that sure OK whatever. All that's been confirmed here is that they are 8/10 a circlejerk fad where all gamers think being mechanical suggests its worth $100+. Its a marketing tactic, that has successfully worked. While there might be slight advantages for some, the excessive price premium is an excuse to charge gamers more for a product they consider "gaming worthy" the real world performance difference between it and a membrane keyboard are minimal. For the price, they aren't worth it. And only when the fad is over will prices come down.
