I was a little puzzled reading the history books wondering why some people were able to make a case (a career, even) railing against the immorality of... jazz, back in its heyday. But it wasn't too important so I moved on.

I was just watching pre-Code cartoons on a whim and wow, okay, I guess there'd be plenty of people willing to go moral crusader on that even today.
