You can do just fine on the interview and still not be selected, assess your risks accordingly.
Basically, I wasted six months of my life prepping for it twice, and if a recruiter comes calling again, that's what I'm gonna tell them: I worked my ass off for your company for six months, created nothing of value, and didn't get paid.
Be very sure it's where you want to work before you try. I only did it to placate family who have never had my best interests at heart.
