His reluctance to talk to reporters probably stems from the fact tht he doesn't have a new project to announce, and he doesn't want to come off as such a a shamless self-promotionist after the GG speech situation and Tayto. FYI, the James Ivory Richard II project is in pre-production as of August 2017. His recent success as the screenwriter of this year's Call Me By Your Name, should give Ivory some heat to get Richard II made.
