Tom is still in the industry! And I think that he and his PR guy, Luke, have taken a page from the TS playbook by refocusing on charitable donations, and notifying the press about it, just like his peers do. The British actors have joined forces to fight sexual harassment just in time to promote the BAFTA film awards. Tom, Emma Watson, K Knightley, Emma Thompson Gugu M-W, Jodie Whittaker from Return to Cranford, etc. have made donations to a fund for victims of sexual assault, called the UK Justice and Equality Fund. Tom gave £10,000 and Emma W gave £1 million, and he made the contribution by name, on a GoFundMe page. Hmmm...I guess this is Tom's answer to the the Harvey Weinstein fallout, the Time's Up Movement, and acting in a Woody Allen film. Hmm... Processing. Given Tom's last 1.5years in the business, it was probably best for him to stay quiet on the issue, and let his financal contribution speak for itself. I'm a little wary of the Time's Up. The agents are heavily in involved in this. They agencies need good press themselves, b/c they knowingly led actresses to meet with a violent predator, when they many knew about Harvey's crimes.

There's a shoe print on his coat and his scarf has a hole in it. He knows he's going to be photographed yet he chooses to dress like someone who doesn't wash themselves or there clothes. He has to get his act together, this depress person he's become is getting odd and crazy now. I'm surprised he hasn't snapped at someone.
Those are the clothes he uses daily to walk his dod and play with him in the park. If you ever had a dog, you know that you always come home with dirty clothes.
I'm sure that when he gets home he takes a shower and changes to normal clothes.
I've had a dog before and my clothes were never dirty even if I played with him in the park or yard. That's a bad excuse, especially since he's a celebrity and he knows he's going to be photographed. Image is everything to celebrities. Is he trying to make people feel sorry for him or what with this sad man image he now has.

There is this misconception that Tom's fan base consist of a bunch of teenage girls when in actuality it's more a bunch of twenty somethings and middle age women. It resembles the Twilight fan base. His popularity is teenage-like but the fans are most often adults.
Also how is taking paparazzi photos of walking your puppy looking like a disheveled mess prove he isn't a famewhore? He's getting photographed doing the most mundane things with his newest prop-the dog-which is what reality tv stars paparazzi photos are like. He's just making himself look pitiful and it's not helping him.
He needs to guest star on some popular show or something. Go back to square one and stop being tabloid fodder because he dated a girl his obsessed fan base hates like every girl he dates.
And if he wants to get rid of his insane overly entitled fanbase; get married and pop a kid. That'll shatter their wish fulfillment fantasies about him. Though I'm sure they'll talk bad about his wife and child ala Cumberbatch, but the fantasy will wear off aand they'll target another single actor.

Elizabeth Debicki has confirmed basically nothing about TNM2. I'm glad that TH has a gig, and yet I am no longer interested in Roper and Pine squaring off again. And Pine seemed kind of ambivalent about Jed at the end of the series, unlike at the end of the end. The book has been adapted and it has no sequel. There is no more night to manage. Think like Elsa in Frozen, and Let It Go. Or make Olivia Coleman the lead maybe, and start over...Hmm...Like a LeCarre novel meets Fargo, and Olivia has a hot affair with her sexy ex-lover in the CIA! I've solved it!

I felt like there was a period earlier this year when he really dropped out of sight. Since TayTo, there's usually been some sighting - out for a run, in a coffee shop, at a gas station - about once a week, but for several weeks there was nothing. This was not too long after the country house rumors. Was he away setting up his new household? On a vacay with the new gf? In South Sudan shooting more footage for the documentary? Off filming alternate endings for Loki's exit from the MCU? Only time will tell, and time ain't talkin'.
I had to google it, but yes, he and JA were spotted at Wimbledon in the summer of 2013.
Maybe the woman is JA. He was spotted with her in a cafe before the infamous Met Gala where he met TS.
Whomever it is Tom is at a better time at his life, and considering his age, to settle down since it seems he's not traveling for work nowadays.
Or maybe its just another friend and the country house was just a way to make money and rentng it to rich people.

I have no doubt he's still stringing her along. And to think his fans believe he would make a great dad/husband/boyfriend. The man is going to be like Clooney, not get married until he's in his 50s and is satisfied where his career is at. Also going by the ages he's been dating with EO and TS being in there twenties, he'll most definitely want a twenty something by that time since he wants children. He'll just have an endless string of women until he gets there.
I think he's a terrible boyfriend, he hasn't had a long term serious relationship in the longest. So odd that no one focused on his dating life when he was with TS when they practically have the same dating habits, thing is Tom keeps it private while TS doesn't. That's why those two are perfect for each other, they're fickle in dating and get bored easily, plus the career ambition.
There were rumors he broke up with SF because he wanted to focus on his career and SF did liked some Twitter posts making fun of Tom's speech at the Golden Globes. Plus there was that Facebook post in which she vehemently denied being married to him and her friends saying "Thank F**K".
Apparently TH went to another play and it was mentioned on twitter. This was by an all-female theatre company. Glad to know that he's still passionate about the arts, and that he's enjoying himself in his time off. Yes, Tom had to step back from the GP. But he needs a new publicist ASAP, and a new branding strategy going forwards. Unless Tom is comfortable doing theatre and scooping up supporting roles in films, from now on. Fingers crossed that James Ivory secures funding for the Richard II film.

It'll be interesting to see if James Ivory gets financing since Shakespeare films don't do well in today's market. Maybe Shakespeare inspired but actual Shakespeare is a tough sell. He could always go to Netflix or Amazon. Netflix is already doing David Michod's The King with Plan B and Timothee Chalamet playing Henry V.
I don't think it's a case of directors not wanting to work with Tom. I think it's more of producers being wary of him. I thought him being subdued during Ragnarok and Early Man promo was him showing he's not the spotlight hogger or famethirsty actor Tayto showed him to be. If he keeps the same subdued persona during IW promo, he might get back in producers' good graces again. Then again it's not like he got a great selection of scripts before Tayto either but TNM success was turning things around for him...until well yeah.
P.S. did you guys see Luke Windsor deleted his Twitter account? A PR agent, one with his own company, deleted his Twitter. That doesn't sound good at all.

>>675 Well, I think he's terrible at actual PR. He can do the basic stuff, that most PR interns are capable of, but when it comes to the hard stuff, Luke is not good at all. Tom's bad PR in 2016 could have been fixed very easily since Taylor had been unmasked at that point. A good PR agent worth his salt could have easily steered away from it all by focusing the attention on Tom's charity, his likeable personality, his TNM success. There was a lot to work with.
The Emmys were the perfect opportunity for Luke to sit Tom down and really rehearse with him how to portray a 180 image to the one Taylor and her team were spewing. It wouldn't have needed any attacks on her either. I don't know why Luke dropped the ball so bad when the fix was very easy. I mean being famethirsty is not a good look but it was less than 3 months and celebrities have sprung back from bad PR due to actual CRIMES. Tom could have sprung back from it easily if he had a good PR agent, ESPECIALLY after he won a frickin' Emmy. That was such a gold opportunity that night for Tom to shine, even after it. But Luke cannot PR at all. Sorry, Luke.

I always get these minimalist designs when it comes to cases for my iPhones. I've been using these Spigen Hybrid cases since the iPhone 6 and have never thought about getting a different case since. Just been looking at the Torrilla pics in more detail and I have the following additional thoughts:
1) EO’s leather dress is excellent.
2) The beard on closer inspection requires further trimming - it still looks like pubes on his cheeks. Why he doesn’t shave it neatly I do not know.
3) The suit is apparently Ralph Lauren. Everything RL does is blue and white stripe, I think. I have a bed headboard upholstered in a not dissimilar fabric!

Tom looked good. His personality was off. He seems to be going for the aloof demeanor now. Lol he's always one extreme or the other, dancing bear or angry stoic. Though he had a good medium at the Early Man premiere.
Olsen's dress made me cringe. Just the shoulders part though. But her makeup and hair looks great. She definitely takes good care of her skin. Is it just me or did it seem like Elizabeth was acting more like how Tom used to at premieres? Her overall behavior was very early Marvel Tom.

There's a video of Tom's speech onstage at the IW viewing event. So Tom has moved from wearing free brown leather Ariat cowboy boots post Thor 1, to free grey suede Aquatalia boots, then to wearing free grey suede Kurt Geiger boots post Hamlet @ RADA, and now to wearing brown leather Alexander Mcqueen boots post IW?! Lucky guy!
Apparently, Tom met with children before the IW event, the same as he did immediately before the Thor 3 premiere, where he also skipped over the red carpet journalists and he was late to that event, as well. This scheduling and his muted personality seems to be his new strategy for avoiding negative press. Hmm...methinks we need new projects, not avoidance.

He has filled out in the face - no longer has the razor cheekbones he had during TNM promo, more like how he was when filming CP. I always thought it took him a long, long time to regain the weight he lost for ISTL. He really does look healthy and well rested, in contrast to KSI and TR promo especially, but even to EM. I think it helps that he's letting himself relax and smile.
Also, finally letting a stylist at his hair and beard has improved his appearance greatly!
