Apparently, even tough Team TS is no longer logging the flights of her planes into the websites, you can definitely still track her planes if they are in the air. You just have to search for her tail numbers while she is flying, and you can still follow the plane. Not sure if anyone in the world has the patience to do that though.

Speaking of Tom on IG, I found what I'm 99% sure is his private account a while ago and have checked in occasionally to see if the number of followers has changed because they were significantly low (in the 10- 20s). When the first pictures on the rocks emerged he jumped an extra 6 followers. Straight after CC he unfollowed someone and last night as he opened his official account he unfollowed one more person.
Maybe its nothing but when you have less than 30 friends and lose two in the space of two weeks thats usually a sign of a significant fallout.

Before the Swift fiasco the account was very stagnant and his followers never changed. He only used it to like other people's posts. The number he is following only increases slightly when he's working and thats in the 350- 400 mark. The number of his posts hasn't changed since the filming of SI and thats when I picked up on the account.

It seems to me that Marvel is doing more social media promo for Thor, and I'd bet they were the reason for Tom's Instagram debut. Mark Ruffalo and Chris Hemsworth have both been sharing behind the scenes videos and photos. Tom's first photo was of Loki. I think it's not so much that they're being supportive of Tom as that they're promoting his account for professional reasons - RDJ by poking fun, Ruffalo by sharing that little clip of the two of them that's been very popular on tumblr.

It would have made more sense for TH to start this account while he was still on set and not now that he is in LA for his Emmy. I suppose we'll have to see, if he uses this account only for Marvel or for work in general.

I think we can vaguely peg his Marvel earnings to what he paid for the house. It was marketed for £2.75m in Feb 2012 and he bought it for I think a little less than that. That is a fairly hefty mortgage for a single jobbing actor - assuming a £2m mortgage you are talking about £12,000 a month.
The job is not exactly secure, and the money may be a lot in one year and not much for a couple of years thereafter, if you're doing theatre work and what have you - so it's not very easy to service a £12k a month debt. I therefore assumed that he had already banked enough for the deposit and knew from his Marvel contract that he would be able to pay off the rest once he had done all the Marvel films, or at least get it down to a feasible level (say £500k, which sadly in London is the mortgage on a 2 bedroom flat). So his net Marvel earnings after everything else - tax, agents' fees, expenses - would have to be at least £3m. Say £2.25m for the deposit and paying off a big chunk of the equity, plus £750k to live on over 7 or 8 years (2010-17).
I reckon as a self employed person that you take home about 50% of what you earn when you take into account tax and deductible expenses. Maybe a bit less than 50% as you earn more - or maybe a bit more if the income is smoothed through tax efficiency. But £6m overall sounds about right to me. Maybe £750k for Thor as he was an unknown, then £1.-1.5m for Avengers and each of Thor 2 and 3.

According to this o obituary, his maternal grandfather wasn't rich. He retired in 1980 and spent most of his time in the South of Portugal (the Algarve) where he had a house. I think Tom mentioned in some interviews the happy memories of his summer holidays in Portugal with his sisters. He died in January 1999. So if there's an inheritance, it should be in 1999.
