This is not the note I wanted to end/leave on, however many things recently have just become too much for me and I would rather leave. I was also going to go without too much of a fuss, but I felt that certain things needed explaining, and certain people deserved a proper reason. Please do not ask me to change my mind, it will only make me feel worse than I already do. I also expect that this will be deleted and my username taken off asap tomorrow, so please pass on my best wishes to anyone who cares I’ve gone.

The time is right for me to go, because the person I like to see myself as being i.e. fun, can enjoy herself and have a laugh etc is not really the person people want to see on here if I get carried away. I do not see the point in me trying to pretend to be someone I’m not and be scared of posting incase it annoys someone and then I get put on pre-moderation for eternity. I want to be myself. If that offends people and gives the impression to others that I am immature, rude, insulting, opinionated etc then I don’t deserve to be a member of this community any more, and I need to go. Many people feel that I obviously treat this place more as a chatroom than a discussion forum. I did not intend to treat is as such and I apologise if my short and useless posts have annoyed anyone, which I know they have. You’ll be glad to know that there won’t be anymore. I am sorry that my posts have offended so many people and I am sorry if they were considered rude and insulting.

So finally, I have not particularly enjoyed writing this post, nor am I thrilled at leaving, but it is the right decision for myself and the rest of the forum.

Here I was posting away, thinking I was donating to charity, but in fact only 25% goes to negroes in sub-Saharan Africa, and the rest to administrative costs. Therefore, I cannot continue: how could I donate 25% when 75% of my posts go to something else? I'm not technically leaving 4-ch as such. Sometime after June I will be moving out of home, and moving overseas, looking for work and starting a new fresh. This means, my role as "leader" of 4-ch is going to be no more, as I simply wont have the time (nor the money) to continue running this site myself. Now, if I had made the decision 12 or so months ago, I would have just deleted the site, sold the domain, and be done with it, however because too many people use the site, and like it, Ican't really do that.

So, this the call for you, the community who uses this website (all ~50,000 of you) to come together to keep the site alive.

There is quite a few problems that need to be solved, some are financial, most are not. It will be up to you to determine this websites future. I am doing this now, giving everyone 6 months to have something in place so when I do go, you will be ready. Everyone is welcome to discuss this topic here.

Well I'm sorry to say that i lost interest in the site because of the actions i see from the mods and members, it's really sad to see how people acts toward each other.
when i started the site i wanted a place to make friends instead it turned to be a place where people just fight. they even fight from the simplest thing. i spent a lot of time/money to keep the site going but from what i see it all becoming a disaster ..
the main reasons that got me to do this:

  The site became a spaming place , full of nothing but crap.

  Mods just abuse their power and ban members who doesn't get along with them.
