Life would be way more interesting if humans weren't the most advanced beings that the known universe had to offer.

I understand that sex, masturbation, and feelings of arousal are all entirely pointless, and that it would be to my advantage to disregard them, yet I can't stop. Case in point: as a human being, it's fucking hard to do make ourselves do the things we know we should be doing. Therefore, we're scum that can't even see our ideas realized without enormous amounts of self-control, just because are brains our wired to prioritize sex over everything.

Well, at least I feel this way about myself.
