I was thinking 我 might be appropriate for quotes like Queen Victoria's "We are not amused" but that seems to be conventionally translated as the obvious and boring "私たちは面白くない" (or "私、女王におもしろくありません" which seems to miss the point entirely.)

yeah 朕 is the pronoun traditionally used by royalty, kinda equivalent to the "royal we" except it's not actually plural.

also 私たちは面白くない really is kind of obvious and boring and also sounds more like "we are not funny"

personally i'm kind of a fan of using kango to make things sound more regal and preserve the witty brevity of the original

maybe just "朕は不享楽。"
