Laughing at the delusion manifested in this post. Apparently, because TH managed to get in and out of LA without being papped that means we were wrong and evil ever to call him a famewhore. http://angelsseb.tumblr.com/post/151662536470/tom-was-in-la-again

As opposed to a highly selective famewhore, perhaps, who okay, calls, the paps, when he has something he wants them to see?!! Give me strength.

>>101 This comment represents the difference between 'fan' and 'stan.'

This comment also represents the difference between fully realized, capable-of-rational-thought adulthood (what we practice here) and those who (whatever their age) simply play at being adults. As as adult, you own your shit. And you expect - demand! - the same of others. For several weeks this summer, TH was a famewhore. And when the consequences of said famewhoreing turned unpalatable, he proceeded to imply that Joe and Joan Public, and their pesky cameraphones, were responsible for the Tayto promo tour. That is not 'adulting.' And when his fans do the same, it is also not 'adulting.'

>>102 Other places where completely unsolicited photos can be taken:

  • a beach in a state with incredibly strict privacy laws
  • the tarmac of a mother-trucking metropolitan airport
  • a service station along the A12...as part of a convoy of vehicles
  • a private driveway

Puuuulees.

But as I'm all for precision with labels (and I don't want to upset Tumblr or veranda dwellers), I shall refer to the Tayto <strike>years<strike> months as TH's SFW (selective famewhore) period.

It's just like Picasso's Blue Period, but less blue and more famewhorey.

>>105 God they are desperate. Author says popularity wasn't about the bare bum, it was because people are attracted by the primal force of sex scenes! So it wasn't the nudity, just the sex that made people watch. Give me strength.

The anecdote at the end about John le Carre trying to hijack the scene he appeared in makes him sound both cantankerous and stupid. I would have thought it is pretty obvious that Pine needs to resolve the dispute with the other diner so the scene can move on. What a twat trying to "win" the argument onscreen. Now we know that if John le Carre was playing Hamlet he would say to Laertes, no no I'll take this poisoned rapier....you have the other one. No. Get off. I want that one. Etc.

>>105 Ha! Creator's should think about an adaptation where someone in 2015 physically stole documents instead of taking pics or scanning them. Creator's should also remember that if people want sex they watch youporn.

>>106 Wasn't that the time when TH ran to mommy (the director) because Le Carrè was being uncooperative and she told him that she wasn't going to tell a single thing to Le Carrè?
Anyway, yes Le Carrè sounds kind of silly to insist so much upon such a silly scene, he could take a lesson about cameos from Stan Lee.

>>108 He did take pics of Roper's documents and text them. I was watching it again recently - that's how I remember. What I had forgotten or not picked up initially was how wooden TH was at times. "That passport was MINE. Give it BACK." He was so much better in almost everything else he has done. Maybe it was the writing ..

>>104 Comparisons to Picasso's Blue Period had me in stitches.
Lest we forget all the times TayTo ate at a non celeb restaurants yet were papped arriving by photographers who were waiting because paps are psychic, especially where Tom is concerned whereas they never ever leave Tay Tay alone (except for the last two months when they just forgot to follow her obviously, not because she was hiding).

>>109 But not Sophie and/or Jed. My bf laughed at Roper not having at least a VPN on his island, actually he went as far as saying "what kind of villain doesn't even have these days?"

He was wooden, but the series was packaged so well it was easy to miss at first. I wish we could blame it on the writing, but TH was executive producer so...

In our reviews on here we were much kinder, but watching it again while cooking dinner, without a large glass of wine in my hand and on a small screen it didn't hold up at all well. Maybe I was distracted by him getting shirtless in every episode and lying in bed Thinking About Things.

>>110 Maybe he EMOTED...a...PLANK. Or Emoted A PLank. :)

I'm always aware of actors acting. I have problems with pausing reality. Of the current crop of British thesps, only Rylance and Lesser are able to make me believe they are their characters. Coincidence that they aren't 'overexposed' like so many others? Don't think so.

Knowing a little about military hardware, any chance I had of suspending disbelief disappeared when I saw the 'purchase order' in ep. 1. Ordering a few D-5s are we? Suuuuure...bullshit. Still, I liked the show. It wasn't the caliber of TPvOJ but that wasn't TH's fault. As I wrote in my reviews, he wasn't convincing as a tough guy. His fight outside the pub was not fear-inducing. I blame writing and directing as much as acting; all three struck the wrong tone. His scene with the drug dealer was better. He's more believable as a menacing, quiet tough guy than a breaking things and punching people tough guy. Same with OC's 'skewer them' scene in the hotel. She's a great actress, but that scene was off.

For me TH's most convincing role has probably been as Edward in Archipelago. Maybe because he's as messed up, uncertain and desperate as Edward. Shit was that movie boring though.

Faux relationship, faux breakup, can we please move on? The dailymail probably just wants clicks, but really?! I just want to know about the future entertainment projects, not PR BS.

>>129 3) TH has his two iphones with the passport, and that was confirmed by that hiddlesfashion tumblr. One white and one black. One white iphone in a black case, and one black iphone in a blue case. They both have music. One personal one for business? It's a deep mystery : )

>>129 Still going with chemically straightened. If you look at his hair when it's curly, even when short, it doesn't curl softly. The curls are tight. Chemical straightening, which I had once about 4 years ago, doesn't remove all the curl but relaxes it greatly. I think this is what's going on here. But maybe he's just blowing it out to some extent. Maybe some brave journalist will ask him about his summer of 'not having curly hair.'

Two phones: one for business and one to call up drug dealers and Russian hookers, a la the townbycycle. Obviously!

>>131 I did notice that his hair appeared to be 'done' in these pics. So I'm thinking 'called paps' on this one. I think the ones where he's looking at the photographer with a 'what are you doing?' expression may be a double bluff: call them but then act like you're surprised/miffed that they are there. I'd have thought that beneath him five months ago. No longer.

Plus, the restaurant, the Social Eating House + Bar, is the exact same spot where TH picked up takeout, allegedly for he and TS, when he was papped with takeout bags, wine, and pellegrinio, on the night before the Kimye Snapchat gate! He probably wanted some PR love, and didn't want to give the press access to his private regular hangouts. For the record, TS was never ever seen at the Peppers Broadbeach Hotel. It was only just "assumed" by the dailymail that she was staying there at all! Crazy. You can see the Peppers Hotel in the background if you google the restaurant. Tom added: “I have been a fan of Nick Park and Aardman for as long as I can remember, (he always is, he is a fan of everone and everything that ever comes his way, I bet he was a fan of TS, up until August)

and am incredibly honoured to be working with Nick and the team on this adventure. Of course it's also possible that the voiceover work required little time, after all he is voicing a minor character (basically fate repeating itself, Redmayne on the elephant, TH as leg).

Thor3 has 2 more weeks, this is the only announcement so far, we'll see if anything else pops up, in the meantime his stans will do like he does, puff up this small part like it'll get him an Oscar.

The animated movie is a good temp gig for Tom. He probably is holding out for a good leading man script offer following when the Golden Globe nominations are announced Dec 12. He could get two of them, Best Actor Musical/Comedy for ISTL, and Best Actor Miniseries for TNM. The Summer shenanigan will have dissipated more from Hollywood minds by then.

Taylor Swift was just described as having had a storied and ruptured relationship with TH. So deliciously fictional and melodramatic. So TH is kind of like an additional footnote in her Formula 1 Concert brochure write up. She manufactured a relationship so she could just seem desirable, and emerge as a survivor of love gone wrong. So surprising : ) American pop star and the Scottish DJ broke up shortly after their co-written single dropped, and she drifted into a storied and now also ruptured relationship with Tom Hiddleston.

But they should have already parlayed the Emmy nom - and the success/hype of TNM - into some choice roles. Maybe they aren't ready to announce those yet, but if second-fiddle voice work is all they could get, then that's worrisome.

Why does he have so many people? When do they stop being birds on a hippo and start being ticks on a dog? Olly, Luke, Beardy, the groomer, Miss Yours Truly. Too many people! Several of whom do a shit job, which, I'd say, turns them from birds into ticks.

>>158 An ISTL nomination could happen just because there weren't any tier A musicals released this year with big budgets and big stars. No Les Mis, no Into the Woods, no Chicago, etc. Just saying strategically it could happen for that reason. There were some well crafted performances in ISTL, but sadly a poorly written script, and it was oddly paced. Great intentions and passion from everyone, but sadly, not the most well crafted film.

>>159 Don't they just select comedy roles when there haven't been any good musicals? I don't think they're required to select a musical. The only musical performance I can see slipping in is R Gosling for La La Land, which looks all sorts of magical, but I don't know if its release date will make the nomination cut.

Also, would his role in ISTL qualify for a musical? Is it based on musical numbers performed in the film? Minutes singing? I know they've tightened these definitions since The Martian was considered a comedy last year and people were an-gree!

>>159>>160 Lala Land makes the cut for this year's musical and comedy category. It was premiered at all the film festivals and promoted heavily by both Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. It was marketed as a musical, they call it an homage to the musicals of yesteryears and it's honestly a really good film and ISTL is nothing compared to it.

Also there's Ethan Hawke's Chet Baker movie right? That's also an ISTL type biopic musical. So we could have Ethan Hawke, Ryan Gosling, and Tom Hiddleston up for noms. My bet is on Ryan Gosling winning. It was a great performance by him in Lala Land. I can't think of any good comedies that came out this year. We got a crap ton of dramas for this year though. Stiff competition there.

Well that didn't take long. Thor wraps up and Swifties are celebrating a Hiddleswift reunion since supposedly Taylor's plane went to London this weekend and Hiddlestoners on Tumblr are on alert watch, preparing for the worst, hoping for the best. And as usual logic and basic understanding of how time zones work has no room in the mind of a Swifty that's filled with Taylor trivia.

My question is - what's the best lipstick shade to wear for fall/ winter for paler skin tones? Dark colors really wash me out but I want to be on trend too.

She probably can't understand why Billy Shakes won't return her emails or follow her on twitter and IG even though she's the top earning pop star and is a songwriter and has won multiple Grammies. Probably decided to go to London to talk to him personally at one of his plays.

All the noise on tumblr over Taylor's supposed London trip this weekend has made it to Lainey and from there to NY mag's snark. Sounds like the Tumblr Swifties emailed Lainey with the London trip and a Hiddleswift reconciliation. If true, round two of that shit show so close to the elections is going to be nauseating. Unless Taylor wears a "I heart Billy Shakes but all I got was Tom's receding hairline" shirt.

In my world there is one king: the source. The source tells you mostly everything you need to know about information. Remember when Anon couldn't find the source for the kissy hand pic? It looked like it had been taken by a non-pap, that it was capturing a natural, beautiful moment between The One and The One. But then Anon should have been able to find an origin source. Nope. Same with those inside the Vatican shots. I looked for the origin source for those - couldn't find it. Dodgy. The lack of an origin source with these pics suggests the info is planted.

The source for the Rebirth of Tayto is...drumroll...her crazy, plane-tracking, whack-doo stans. They emailed Lainey - in the dozens? Hundreds? - to herald the coming of Tayto Two. And Lainey took the bait. Now TH and TS might pick up with their stunting, but I'm going to need pap proof of the second coming, not just the wishful thoughts of her loonies.

There was never even proof it was her plane that went to London, just a plane of the same model (or according to one anon on tumblr, not even the same model - just a similar one). And now we have multiple articles about it. Those TS fans are out of control.

>>189 I know how to work the plane tracking app thanks to a colleague. But to see if her plane landed at Stansted, after the fact, would mean running back through all of that day's landings. I'm not willing to devote an hour+ of my life to that. Her crazy fans are on point when it comes to tracking her, so I would bet that she did go to London. Whether it was for TH or for the reanimated corpse of Shakespeare remains to be seen.

>>190 I looked when it first happened so there wasn't much to go through, and there was no tail number on the F900 that flew into Stansed from the New York area, or on most of the other dozen F900s that were flying at the time. From what I gathered she's been jetting around to her usual music recording cities over the last month, so it's more likely she'd be in England to meet up with one of her British songwriting buddies, especially since the F900 has already flown back to New York and there wasn't enough time after the last Oz Tom sighting for him to even get to the U.K. before it left.

Regardless, if Hiddleswift gets back together, I'll eat my tin foil hat.

It was nice of Lainey and the Swifties to provide us with a scary story on Halloween.

I guess this could be a continuation of the showmance narrative. We already suspect that she sent her plane cross country to make it look like he travelled to see her for roughly 48 hours in August. I didn't want to believe that he faked getting on and off that plane but I just don't know. I really don't know.

So now she sends her plane to London and back to start the rumor that the greatest love of all time is being reborn. She knows her fans will automatically think that's what is happening. And the hive will start to buzz and get it out to the media, which is exactly what's happened.

It doesn't even need to actually be happening; it just needs to appear like it is.

it makes my head hurt.

197 Name: Couch Potato : 2016-11-01 15:54 ID:Heaven

>>196 If he faked going to RI in August then there's only one thing I need to know: who got that present he was holding?

My idea, based on her friend's interview and the fact that she didn't fly to LA to meet him halfway, is that TS dumped him and he ran to RI with a present to convince her otherwise.

Then again maybe TS enjoy wasting money on fuel. I don't get it, shoes, clothes, purses&scarf for the occasional hide-in-the-fence..wait, that was another girl...sure, but fuel?

Thing is, as long as TS doesn't have a new bf TH will always be the last and his name will always be mentioned in connection to hers, no matter what.

198 Name: anonsy : 2016-11-01 19:33 ID:xkDkawLy

>>197 If she had dumped him and he was flying to RI to win her back, he probably wouldn't have been using her jet.

199 Name: Sosorry : 2016-11-01 21:07 ID:bbgAObmX

>>198>>197 Yep. RI was faked. They just had to appear to meet up, not actually meet up. It might have been a book for a dream new project, or a belated present for one of the Hemworth family bdays. You could see a slim build in navy pants that looked like TH near the cake in one of the pictures posted by Chris or Elsa, at their bday party at the beginning of the Thor 3 shoot, and TH mentioned that he hadn't bought a present yet for Chris's recent bday, and it was Elsa s bday that day, I think.

TS was in NYC with Karlie Kloss. They always disappear and reappear from social media together when either is not working. They're glued at the hip. I'll bet the London plane picked up a squad member or two for TSs Holloween party. The one she threw to distract from Katy Perrys Holloween themed sock hop bday party also over the weekend, with Orlando Bloom, C Delevigne, etc. That party looked super fun with twister, a pie eating contest, a Marilyn Monroe impersonator.

Anyway, I like that Tom is staying out of the fray. Let Calvin Harris and TS battle it out with petty dueling song lyrics, while he hunts for his next role, which hopefully he'll find, soon. He might want to consider posting an instagram pic of a sunrise or sunset taken from his location, the next time fans insist that he and TS are on the same state/country/continent, when they are clearly not. Nip the rumors in a classy independent way.

200 Name: Couch Potato : 2016-11-01 21:55 ID:Heaven

>>198 Haha, he could have asked her to meet to talk it over. Mind you, I don't care one way or the other, but then who paid for that flight from Brisbane to LA to fake a meeting? TH? Surely not Marvel. Anyway, it would only make him look even more like an utter fool.
