A rhetorical question is a way of presenting something which is not a question. In this case, that something was along the lines of ‘It is better to try something before saying it's shit.’. This is a claim, an argument, whatever you want to call it. As an argument, we can question whether it's a good argument.

I find it amusing that you don't see this, but instead reply with what looks like an insult(?), and then go on to say that you are looking for ‘well thought-out posts’.
