I got a different job and am now in the month of shame, where my boss doesn't talk to me and I sit around not even trying to look busy.

Give him apology juice, touch him with your elbow playfully, wink and tell him to take it easy and if has some good business idea outside his job, you would love to work with him.
Holy shit, it's Thursday already?
This is the excuse that we are making. Is it good enough for what you're paying?

Good grief, man, you invoke memories of niconico videos in me.
I never go into all the preiphary sites that went up around *chans through the years. There was boorus and wikis and niconico and pixiv or whatever. I never got into them, I know nothing about them.
>>813
It makes you wonder how important the chans really are. Would the same people have come together without them? Would you and I be taking on something that's not quite a text board?
yo >>815 listen to this, i went on dqn the other day, yup the elitist superstructure, that dqn, but the place was packed then i noticed people were posting links from reddit oh the fools this is D-Q-N for pete's sake this should be a bloody place that sage or be saged mentality that's what's great about this place people that go on reddit should screw off and go back to reddit amirite anyways they posted some links and i was like hey just stick to today's special ha ha ha
I'm so happy to see /img/ has become almost nothing but Touhou.
I browse reddit unironically. I've been doing it for the past month or so. The quality goes up and down depending on the subbreddit. Some of them are extremely 4chan-ish, in a "culturally homogeneous to the point of the userbase being virtually indistinguishable". If they appended everything with -fag, it would be literally 4chan running on another platform. Also the people at reddit like to jerk each other a bit more than 4chan, and by a bit I mean a whole fucking lot. Stroking it among each other seems to be like their favorite sport.
But really, it's surprising that the folks at 4chan and at reddit don't recognize each other a whole lot more. From a bird's eye view, they are pretty much the same young (and white) audience.
doing psychadelics and molesting satori together with koishi
>>820 But don't you have a name and a score on Reddit? Whether you like it or not that puts a spin on the pure ideas that are posted, and that is a bit distasteful...
>>822
Yeah, that's pretty gross. Even I stopped shoving my tripcode everywhere
>From a bird's eye view, they are pretty much the same young (and white) audience.
While I think that's naive, speaking from personal experience, it is still a reminder whites are still a majority in at least the Americas.
Now I'm interested in what the results of an actual demographic survey would be.
>>822
I don't think it matters at all. I don't think Reddit, or 4chan for that matter, are good places to discuss "ideas" to begin with. When it confirms their biases, the userbase takes everything at face value and do no discriminative effort at all, username and upvotes be damned.
Further, anonymity doesn't fix confirmation bias, it just removes one step from dismissing ideas contrary to your beliefs: if everyone is anonymous, in your mind, everyone is potentially a shill. No need to go check their posting history to pin the adjective on someone.

London comic-con was yesterday. Lots of boobs.
I'd probably try psilocybin or LSD given the chance, but I have no interest in most other illegal drugs.
I remember there was this video of this new anime CG process that looked exactly like it's 2D counterpart. I can't remember how long ago I saw this. Maybe a year or two ago. But I thought it was going to revolutionize anime CG and possibly video games. But I haven't seen it since and I'm not even sure how to search for it.

As much as I hate beardculture, I cannot resent how funny people with beards look sometimes.
I guess Owen Wilson is actually a pretty common name
This thread is the only thing tying me to this world and not entering the next.
Good thing the thread is long.

Indeed there's a subculture around beards. Why is it so surprising? If you decide to leave your beard for a long time, it pretty much becomes a part of your personality. I've seen people become nigh unrecognizable when they shave off their facial hair, beards are that big of a deal.
A person complemented my hat. Today is a good day.
>>850
Because when I think of a person with a beard significant enough to warrant any kind of discussion about it, I certainly don't think of somebody who is eager to talk about it with others. I think of somebody who just doesn't want to deal with shaving every day and doesn't really care about other people's opinion of their beard. Perhaps it's a California thing.
I used to have a pretty big beard; I eventually cut it off after I got tired of people identifying me as 'the beard guy' instead of talking to me like a person and complimenting something I did literally nothing to achieve instead of acknowledging my legitimate skills and hard work. It's unpleasantly like being an attractive female.

Here's what I would have liked your post to say:
> I used to have a pretty big beard; I eventually cut it off after I got tired of people identifying me as 'the beard guy' instead of talking to me like a person and complimenting something I did literally nothing to achieve instead of acknowledging my legitimate skills and hard work. It's unpleasant being an attractive female.

What the fuck is this shit with testing a single fucking button. It's literally one fucking button press. I don't need your fucking approval, I know it fucking works, you stupid moron. You're a blithering buffoon and I'm going to make them fire you for being so fucking useless at your actual job (read: not mindlessly pressing buttons).
Why should society cater almost exclusively to the whims of an out-of-touch imbecilic elite who has inherited fortunes for generations? Why should we perpetuate the lie that magnates have earned said fortune themselves? They can't even wrap their little heads around a flat tire on their luxury cars, let alone understand the nuances of management.

Doesn't it just work? Alternatively, doesn't I2p have a Freenet-esque data web?

I don't have any negative personal experience with Hebrews, but I'm disturbed when I see images or articles that point out how they hoard power and money, or that they have scary plans to destroy western civilisation.
The Jewish and Islamist people are worse than any Christian or Evangelic people you've meet so far.

Personally, I do neither and don't have a youtube account.
